Alicante–Elche Miguel Hernández Airport

Ciudad de la Luz ("City of Light") is a film studio in Alicante, Spain. About 60 films were shot on the studio's premises between opening in 2005 and closing in 2012. In May 2012, the European Commission ruled that public subsidies received by the studio from the local government violated European competition law and ordered Ciudad de la Luz to pay back €265 million. The studio was shut down in October 2012 in preparation for its sale.

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) (French: Office de l'Union européenne pour la propriété intellectuelle) is a decentralised agency of the EU responsible for the registration of EU-wide unitary trade marks and industrial design rights. These exist alongside the intellectual property rights of individual EU member states, so the agency also works to harmonise EU-wide and national registration processes. Other responsibilities include the administration of the rights of certain products in the EU to carry geographical indications. EUIPO was founded in 1994 and was formerly known as the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM), but was renamed in March 2016 to reflect major reforms. The EUIPO is based in Alicante, Spain.

The N-330 is a highway in Aragon, Spain. It forms part of European Route E7. It connects with France at the Tunnel of Somport (12 km) with Huesca. It then becomes the Autovía A-23 to Zaragoza. It heads south to Daroca, where it becomes the N-234. The road emerges again south of Teruel following the Rio Turia. The N-420 branches west in the Rincón de Valencia rising to over 1,000m. It then runs south to Utiel and the Autovía A-3 in the province of Valencia. At Requena the road heads south again into the Sierra Martés with a junction with the N-322 and then crosses the Puerto de Cruz de Confrentes and then down to the Rio Xúquer. Thereafter it passes the Reserva Nacional de Muela de Cortes and a series of olive groves to Almansa and the Autovía A-31.

The Autovía A-31, also known as the Autovía de Alicante, is a highway in Spain. The road connects Madrid to Alicante.It starts at a junction with the Autovía A-3 at Alarcón and heads south east to Albacete. Thereafter the Autovía A-30 branches off to Murcia. The A-31 heads east to Almansa and a junction with the Autovía A-35 before heading to the coast the Autovía A-7 and Alicante.

The Port of Alicante is a seaport in Alicante, Spain on the Mediterranean Sea used for commercial and passenger traffic. The port is administered by the Port Authority of Alicante.

Alicante Terminal (Valencian: Alacant Terminal) is the central railway station of Alicante, Spain. Commonly referred locally as the RENFE station, the station is part of Adif system, and is a terminal station. The station accommodates RENFE long-distance and medium-distance trains, and it is the origin of lines C-1 and C-3 of Cercanías Murcia/Alicante (suburban trains). The station is not related to the narrow gauge railway Alicante-Dénia managed by FGV and part of the city's tram network. In 2013, AVE (high-speed) railway reached Alicante. While a new intermodal station is to be constructed in place of the current terminal, a temporal terminal is to be utilized by the high speed trains.

Estudiotel Alicante (also Riscal) is a skyscraper and hotel in Alicante, Spain. It is located at Poeta Vila y Blanco Street 4 in 03003 postal area near Plaza de los Luceros. It is 117 metres (384 ft) high, with 35 floors. It is the tallest building in the city, ahead of El Barco in Albufereta at 111 metres (364 ft).The building was designed by local architect Francisco Muñoz Llorens and completed in 1962. Besides its height, the building is also distinguished by the geometrically designed parapets on its south face. It has 78 hotel rooms.

Santa Pola (Valencian and Spanish: [ˈsanta ˈpola]) is a coastal town located in the comarca of Baix Vinalopó in the Valencian Community, Spain, by the Mediterranean Sea. It has an area of 58.6 km2 (23 sq mi) and has a population of 36,174 inhabitants of whom 6,000 are residents of the nearby town of Gran Alacant.The town has an important salt evaporation pond known as the salines which remains in business, additionally, most of it is recognized as the Natural Park of Salines de Santa Pola, an important Ramsar site. The town was settled over the ruins of a Roman village called Portus Ilicitanus (literally, Harbour of Elche); after being abandoned for decades, then a castle was constructed in the 16th century which marked the repopulation of Santa Pola. The town has an archeological museum covering these phases. Santa Pola is, at present, a coastal fishing and tourist town. Population more than doubles during the summer, with people coming mostly from the rest of the Alicante province, and also from the Basque autonomous community, Madrid, France and the UK, just to mention some. The nearby island of Tabarca (part of Alicante) can be visited by ship. The new town of Gran Alacant, 5 km (3 mi) north of Santa Pola along the Alicante bay, accounts for about one third of the population of the district. Next to it is the Carabasi area, a nature reserve. Gran Alacant lies only a few kilometres from Alicante Airport and a few hundred metres from the town of Los Arenales which is located in the Elche district. In June 2009, the Valencian Government announced that the Alicante Tram system will be extended southwards via Alicante Airport and El Altet, to stations in Gran Alacant and Santa Pola and then onwards to Guardamar and Torrevieja before terminating in Murcia.

Pabellón Pedro Ferrándiz is an arena, designed by Enric Miralles, in Alicante, Spain. Formerly named as Centro de Tecnificación de Alicante, it changed its name in honour to the Spanish basketball coach and member of the Basketball Hall of Fame Pedro Ferrándiz on 14 January 2014.The arena holds 5,425 people. It is primarily used for basketball and the home arena of Fundación Lucentum Baloncesto.

Gran Sol (also Hotel Gran Sol, Hotel Tryp Gran Sol and officially Edificio Alonso) is a skyscraper and hotel in Alicante, Spain. It is 97 meters tall and has 31 floors. It's a brand hotel Tryp Hotels belonging to the hotel group Sol Melia. The hotel is the third tallest building in the city after Estudiotel Alicante (117 m) and El Barco (111 m). The "Great Sun" is characterized by the colorful murals painted on two of its facades, and to be located opposite the port of Alicante, has become, along with the Castillo de Santa Barbara, a characteristic element of the horizon or skyline of the city. The hotel was completed in 1971 and was completely renovated in 2003. Has 123 four star (****) rooms and a restaurant on the 26th floor.

Alacantí (in Valencian and local Spanish)—also known in Spanish as Campo de Alicante and Comarca de Alicante—is a comarca in the Valencian Community, Spain. It is bordered by the comarques of Marina Baixa and Alcoià to the north, Baix Vinalopó to the south and Vinalopó Mitjà to the west.

Nazareth College, Alicante, is a work that was initiated by the Society of Jesus in 1957 to tend to the educational and other needs of at-risk youth and their families in the community of Alicante, Spain.
