Helebridge is a hamlet west of Marhamchurch (where the 2011 census population was included ) in northeast Cornwall, England.

Marhamchurch (Cornish: Eglosvarwenn) is a civil parish and village in north Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. Marhamchurch village is situated 1+1⁄2 miles (2.4 km) south of Bude off the A39 road. The Civil Parish population at the 2011 census was 837.

Box's Shop is a hamlet in the civil parish of Poundstock in north Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It consists of several cottages, farms and holiday accommodation centred on a crossroads known as 'Box's Shop'. The crossroads is one mile (1.6 km) east of Widemouth Bay on the A39 'Atlantic Highway' road.

The Church of Our Lady and St Anne is a small Anglican church in the village of Widemouth Bay, Cornwall. The church was built in 1929 as a private oratory and was originally located at the opposite end of the village. Despite its relatively modest age, there are two conflicting theories regarding whom it was originally built for. One holds that it was created for three priests, Claude, Reginald and Frank Kingdom, whose family were the squires of Whitstone, Bridgerule and Poundstock. The brothers used it as a retreat each summer for writing their sermons for the rest of the year. The other theory contends that it was built for two women, identified as Miss Kirby and Miss Topham, who allowed the three brothers to use it each year.In the 1930s, Widemouth Bay expanded after rising to popularity as a seaside resort, and in 1940, the lightweight church was moved to its present location, a site which had been acquired by the vicar of Poundstock. Our Lady and St Anne's became a chapel of ease for the growing population, who had previously had to travel to St Winwaloe's in Poundstock. The church has a garden, but this contains no headstones. It has a timber summerhouse, which its congregation built in 2006, and which is used as a community meeting-place. The church's modest dimensions earned it a place in Dixe Wills' 2016 book Tiny Churches.

Widemouth Bay (Cornish: Porth an Men) is a bay, beach and small village on the Atlantic coast of Cornwall, England, UK. It is about 3 miles (5 km) south of Bude. This stretch of coast is steeped in the smuggling history of times before, and not far south of Widemouth Bay can be found many little inlets and coves.

The Lower and Higher Longbeak barrows (also known as the Widemouth Bay tumulus) are a scheduled monument located north of Widemouth Bay in Cornwall. The two round barrows are Neolithic funerary monuments, built sometime around 2400–1500 BC.They are designated as "two bowl barrows, one 220m east of Lower Longbeak and the other 320m east of Higher Longbeak" by Historic England. According to a field survey in 1977, "The southern mound measures 14m in diameter and is 1.1m high. It is steep-sided with a central hollow, possibly the result of antiquarian excavation although no details are known. The barrow has views across Widemouth Sand. The northern barrow mound is 16m in diameter and 0.7m high".They are protected under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979.

Budehaven Community School is a coeducational foundation secondary school and sixth form, located in Bude in the English county of Cornwall.Previously a community school administered by Cornwall Council, in November 2012 Budehaven became a foundation trust school as part of the Bude Communities’ Schools’ Trust. The trust includes Bude Infant School, Bude Junior School, Jacobstow Community Primary School, Kilkhampton Junior and Infant School, Marhamchurch CE Primary School, St Marks CE Primary School, Stratton Primary School and Whitstone Community Primary School.Budehaven Community School offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils, while students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A-levels and further BTECs. Budehaven Leisure Centre is located next to the school, and pupils at the school have full use of the sports facilities during the day, while the centre is open to the local community in the evenings and weekends.

Bude (; Cornish: Porthbud) is a seaside town in north east Cornwall, England, in the civil parish of Bude-Stratton and at the mouth of the River Neet (also known locally as the River Strat). It was sometimes formerly known as Bude Haven. It lies southwest of Stratton, south of Flexbury and Poughill, and north of Widemouth Bay, located along the A3073 road off the A39. Bude is twinned with Ergué-Gabéric in Brittany, France. Bude's coast faces Bude Bay in the Celtic Sea, part of the Atlantic Ocean. The population of the civil parish can be found under Bude-Stratton. Its earlier importance was as a harbour, and then a source of sea sand useful for improving the inland soil. This was transported on the Bude Canal. The Victorians favoured it as a seaside resort. With new rail links, it became a popular seaside destination in the 20th century. Bradshaw's Guide of 1866, Section 2, described Bude as: "a small port and picturesque village in the north-eastern extremity of Cornwall". It described the town as having the dignity of a fashionable marine resort with excellent facilities for bathers. The harbour bed consists of fine bright yellow sand consisting of small shells. "The sea view is of a striking, bold and sublime description – the rocks rising on every side to lofty broken elevations". It also describes Bude as a romantic retreat.

Lynstone is a hamlet near Bude in north Cornwall, England. At the 2011 census the population at the 2011 census was included in the civil parish of Bude-Stratton.

Bude railway station was the western terminus of the Bude Branch. It was opened in 1898 by the London and South Western Railway (LSWR) to serve the coastal town of Bude and closed in 1966 after having been proposed for closure in the Beeching Report.

Bude–Stratton (Cornish: Bud–Strasnedh) is a civil parish in Cornwall, England. The largest settlement in the parish is the seaside town of Bude. The parish also includes the market town of Stratton and the settlements of Flexbury, Poughill, Bush, Maer and Northcott north of Bude, and Upton, Lynstone, Thorne and Hele south of Bude. In the 2011 census the population of the civil parish was 9,934.Bude–Stratton is part of the North Cornwall parliamentary constituency, represented since 2015 by Scott Mann MP.
