Bodmin Friary was a Franciscan friary in Bodmin, Cornwall, England, UK. There are very few remains from the substantial Franciscan Friary established c. 1240: a gateway in Fore Street and two pillars elsewhere in the town. The Franciscans arrived in Bodmin in the 1220s or 1230s and under the patronage of the Earl of Cornwall and other lords acting as trustees erected a fine, lofty church. By the time of the Dissolution of the Monasteries this church was full of tombs of distinguished Cornish people. It was 150 feet long and 60 feet high. In the reign of Henry VIII the friary was dispossessed and the church desecrated. It was converted into a market hall and assize hall and later fell into ruin. The last remains were removed in 1891.

Bodmin Jail (alternatively Bodmin Gaol) is a historic former prison situated in Bodmin, on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. Built in 1779 and closed in 1927, a large range of buildings fell into ruin, but parts of the prison have been turned into a tourist attraction, and more recently another large part was converted into a hotel.

St Petroc's Church, Bodmin, also known as Bodmin Parish Church is an Anglican parish church in the town of Bodmin, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The existing church building is dated 1469–1472 and was until the building of Truro Cathedral the largest church in Cornwall. It was originally a Roman Catholic church, but became an Anglican church as a result of the English Reformation. The tower which remains from the original Norman church and stands on the north side of the church (the upper part is 15th century) was until the loss of its spire in 1699 150 feet (45 metres) high. The building underwent two Victorian restorations and another in 1930. It is now listed Grade I. Part of the church is the Regimental Chapel of the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry dedicated in 1933. The parish of Bodmin is now grouped with Cardinham, Lanivet and Lanhydrock parishes. There is a chapel at Nanstallon.
