The Palazzo (Hong Kong)

Ho Tung Lau (Chinese: 何東樓) is a former area northeast of Lok Lo Ha in Sha Tin, near the MTR and on the former shore of Sha Tin Hoi, in the New Territories, Hong Kong. Maps from the mid-1960s onward shifted Ho Tung Lau southwest-ward to the same location as Lok Lo Ha. Following construction of the MTR, the Ho Tung Lau Maintenance Centre was built on reclaimed land next to Fo Tan in Sha Tin with its north end in Lok Lo Ha. The actual location of Ho Tung Lau has gradually been forgotten, and Ho Tung Lau is more likely to be associated with the area near the maintenance centre. The Fo Tan station is also next to the maintenance centre. Two private housing estates, Royal Ascot and The Palazzo, have been developed on the old site of Ho Tung Lau. The name of Ho Tung Lau is derived from the name of successful businessman Robert Hotung. The character Lau (樓) means a building in Cantonese. Robert Hotung had bought a land near the Sha Tin Hoi and built a house on it.

Fo Tan (Chinese: 火炭; Cantonese Yale: Fó taan) is a station on the East Rail line of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system in Hong Kong. It is located in the Fo Tan area of Sha Tin District, between Sha Tin and University stations on the East Rail line's main branch. The Racecourse is located parallel to Fo Tan, on the line's Racecourse branch. The passenger station serves some apartment buildings, villages, and a medium-sized industrial zone, as well as the Fo Tan Railway House of the MTRC. During rush hour, some northbound trains terminate at this station before departing southwards. Some trains do not run through this station on race days, and are instead diverted to stop at the Racecourse.

The Fo Tan Nullah (Chinese: 火炭渠) is one of the nullahs of the Shing Mun River in Fo Tan, Hong Kong.

Jubilee Garden (Chinese: 銀禧花園) is a private housing estate situated at 2-18 Lok King Street, Fo Tan, Sha Tin District, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is located near the MTR Fo Tan station and right next to Sha Tin Racecourse.

The Hong Kong Sports Institute (Chinese: 香港體育學院) is a sports institute located in Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is mandated to provide training to athletes, and also offers academic qualification in the field of sports training. The institute sponsors elite athletes and trains them as full-time employees, based on their talent and potential. The campus is located on reclaimed land on the bank of the Shing Mun River, next to the Sha Tin Racecourse.

Jockey Club Ti-I College (TIC or JCTIC, Chinese: 賽馬會體藝中學, Demonym: Ti-Ian) is a secondary school in Fo Tan, Hong Kong. The setting up of Ti-I College ('Ti-I' pronounced as 'tee yee'), which is not only focused on normal academic curriculum, but also aimed to develop students' potential of visual arts and sports, was proposed by Sir Edward Youde, the late governor of Hong Kong.The school curriculum uses English as the medium of instruction in all subjects, with the exception of Chinese language and Chinese History.

Tao Heung Foods of Mankind Museum (Chinese: 稻鄉飲食文化博物館), formerly Foods of Mankind Museum, is the first 'foods of mankind' museum in Hong Kong. It is one of the few museums not run and funded by the government. It was housed in a two-floored building at 1 Lok Tin Street, On Lok Tsuen, Fanling, Hong Kong but closed in 2005 due to lack of funds. The museum introduced the food cultures of different countries from the past to the present. The museum was reopened on 15 October 2005. In 2008 it moved to Fo Tan, Sha Tin District.

Fo Tan Village (Chinese: 火炭村) is a village in the Fo Tan area of Sha Tin District in Hong Kong.

Fo Tan (Chinese: 火炭; Cantonese Yale: Fótaan) is an area of Sha Tin District, New Territories, Hong Kong. It was developed as a light industrial area, but this activity has declined markedly in recent years. There are residential areas to the east, alongside the MTR line, and in the foothills to the west.

Wo Liu Hang (Chinese: 禾寮坑) is a village in Fo Tan, Hong Kong. The place was formerly a small plain at the shore of Sha Tin Hoi. The plain to the south has been transformed into an industrial area and a village has been erected in the hilly north. On the reclaimed land nearby, MTR Fo Tan station has been built, along with the Ho Tung Lau Depot of the network.Wo Liu Hang has a history of about one hundred years.

Royal Ascot (Chinese: 駿景園) is a private residential development in Fo Tan, Sha Tin District, Hong Kong, located above the MTR Ho Tung Lau railway depot. The development consists of 2,504 residential units in ten tower blocks, built in two phases: the first phase (six towers) completed in 1995, the remaining four towers were completed in 1996, and the estate was fully occupied by April 1997.It was jointly developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties and the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation, and transferred to the MTR Corporation after the Rail Merger.

Sui Wo Court (Chinese: 穗禾苑) is one of the first estates under Home Ownership Scheme. It is located in Fo Tan, Sha Tin District, Hong Kong. Built in 1980, it is located on a mountain above Wo Che and east of central Fo Tan, northwest of Sha Tin. The court was designed by Palmer and Turner and received a Silver Medal at the 1981 Hong Kong Institute of Architects Annual Awards. The scenery of Sha Tin and Tolo Harbour is visible from the estate.
