The Tauber Bridge at Rothenburg ob der Tauber is an historic road bridge that spans the Tauber Valley west of the town centre of the Middle Franconian town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Bavaria. The structure carries a local link road to Leuzenbronn and the Tauber Valley Way and has a 4.0 metre wide roadway and a 1.0 metre wide footpath.

The Franciscan Friary of Rothenburg ob der Tauber (German: Franziskanerkloster Rothenburg o.d. Tauber) is a former friary of the Conventual Franciscans in the town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Bavaria in the diocese of Bamberg. Nowadays the former Franciscan church is an Evangelical Lutheran parish church.

Founded in 1964 in Herrenberg near Stuttgart by the husband and wife couple Wilhelm and Käthe Wohlfahrt, it was taken over by their son, Harald. The firm moved from Herrenberg to the medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber in 1977. In their main shop in Rothenburg ob der Tauber there is a Christmas Museum and a Christmas exhibition. Amongst its extensive range of products are candles, Christmas tree decorations, nativity scenes and nutcrackers. The shop is open all year long and claims to have the world's largest selection of traditional German Christmas ornaments. The firm has a chain of shops in Nuremberg, Bamberg, Oberammergau, Berlin, Heidelberg, and Rüdesheim am Rhein. In addition there are branches in Riquewihr in France, in Bruges in Belgium, in Barcelona in Spain, on Stonegate in York in the United Kingdom, and in Stillwater, Minnesota, United States. It also runs stalls at Christmas markets. In addition to the Stillwater store in the United States, Kathe Wohlfahrt of America also has seasonal stores at Christmas markets in Arlington, Texas; Baltimore, Maryland; Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Tyson Corner, Virginia; Chicago, Illinois; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as well as a Canadian location in Vancouver. The company is very well known outside the German-speaking region. Its parent company in Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a destination for many tourists from Japan and the United States and a visit to Käthe-Wohlfahrt is often included as part of their Germany or European tours.

St. James Church (German: St. Jakobskirche) is a Gothic church in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany. It was originally a Roman Catholic church but during the 16th century became a Lutheran church. The church is on a medieval pilgrimage route to St. James Church in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. It contains the celebrated Holy Blood Altarpiece by Tilman Riemenschneider and a monumental altarpiece by Friedrich Herlin. The church has two towers (south tower: 55.2 m, 57.7 m north tower).

Rothenburg ob der Tauber (German pronunciation: [ˈʁoːtn̩bʊʁk ʔɔp deːɐ̯ ˈtaʊbɐ] , lit. 'Rothenburg above the Tauber') is a town in the district of Ansbach of Mittelfranken (Middle Franconia), in the Franconia region of Bavaria, Germany. It is best known for its well-preserved medieval old town, a destination for tourists from around the world. It is part of the popular Romantic Road through southern Germany. Today it is one of only four towns in Germany that still have completely intact city walls, the other three being Nördlingen, Dinkelsbühl and Berching, all in Bavaria. Rothenburg was a free imperial city (German: Freie Reichsstadt) from the late Middle Ages to 1803. Between 1884 and 1903, Johann Friedrich von Hessing built the Wildbad spa in Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
