Cheltenham Bournside School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. The school was initially set up as Gloucester Road Elementary Schools for 300 students of all ages, with separate schools for girls, boys, and infants. It became Cheltenham Bournside School in 1972. The school was last inspected on 27 September 2016, and prior to this in May 2012.

Hatherley and Reddings Cricket Club Ground is a cricket ground in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The first recorded match held on the ground came in 1986 when Hatherley and Reddings Cricket Club played the Netherlands. The ground later held a single List A match when the Gloucestershire Cricket Board played the Yorkshire Cricket Board in the 1999 NatWest Trophy, with the Yorkshire Cricket Board winning by 7 runs.Hatherley and Reddings Cricket Club still use the ground to this day.

The University of Gloucestershire is a public university based in Gloucestershire, England. It is located over three campuses, two in Cheltenham and one in Gloucester, namely Francis Close Hall, The Park, Oxstalls and The Centre for Art and Photography being near to Francis Close Hall. In March 2021 the university purchased the former Debenhams store in Gloucester City Centre, with a new campus due to open there in 2023. The university is the recent successor of a large number of merged, name-changed and reformed institutions of further and higher education. Its history spans nearly two centuries. It originates from the merger of two distinct strands of educational provision in Gloucestershire being that provided by Local Government and that founded by the Anglican Church. The university traces its earliest civic history to the Cheltenham Mechanics' Institute in 1834, and to the Cheltenham Training College in its Church history, established in 1847, by the Reverend Francis Close. Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education was created in 1990 from these two distinct strands: from the Gloucestershire College of Art and Design in Gloucester and Cheltenham, the North Gloucestershire College of Technology in Cheltenham, the Gloucester City College of Education, the Gloucestershire College of Education also in Gloucester and the merged Colleges of St Paul and St Mary both in Cheltenham. In October 2001, the college was awarded university status.The university provides almost 100 undergraduate courses and around 57 taught post-graduate courses within eight schools.A 10-year memorandum of understanding exists between the university, Gloucestershire College and South Gloucestershire and Stroud College to support access to higher education.

Cheltenham Spa railway station is a railway station serving Cheltenham in Gloucestershire, England. Situated on the Bristol-Birmingham main line, it is managed by Great Western Railway (despite most services being operated by CrossCountry, which does not manage any stations) and is about one mile from the town centre. The official name of the town is simply Cheltenham, but, when the station was renamed in 1925, the London, Midland and Scottish Railway chose to add Spa to the station name. The station is a key regional interchange and is the fifth busiest rail station in South West England.

Shurdington is a village near Cheltenham in Gloucestershire, England. The area constitutes a civil parish within the Borough of Tewkesbury. It is located south of Cheltenham on the A46. The population at the 2011 census was 1,936 Shurdington has an 11th-century church (St. Paul's), a modern Social Centre (completed 1998) containing the Century Hall and Millennium Hall, a Primary School, a post office and general store and a hairdresser. There are two public houses: the Bell Inn and The Cheese Rollers. The latter is named for the annual cheeserolling event which takes place at nearby Cooper's Hill.

St Philip & St James, Leckhampton is a parish in south Cheltenham, in the English county of Gloucestershire. Part of the Anglican Diocese of Gloucester, the church has been a centre for worship for more than 150 years and has a present congregational roll of over 200.
