Moschendorf Castle (German: Burgstall Moschendorf) is a levelled mediaeval hill castle at a height of 400 m above sea level (NHN) about 50 metres east of the village of Moschendorf, in the market municipality of Gößweinstein in the Franconian county of Forchheim in the south German state of Bavaria. The castle was mentioned in the records in 1464 when the lords of Rabenstein and lords of Groß were named as occupants. The castle was destroyed in 1525 during the Peasants' War. Of the former castle only a few wall remnants and a neck ditch remain.

Gaillenreuth Castle (German: Burg Gaillenreuth) is situated high above the Wiesent river on its upper western perimeter in the village of Burggaillenreuth. The village belongs to the borough of Ebermannstadt in the county of Forchheim in the south German state of Bavaria. All that survives is the southern part of the hill castle. As well as parts of the outer ward there is a tower house from the post-1632 period.

The medieval burgstall is the site of a spur castle, of which only a few rampart remains have survived. It appears to have been a circular rampart probably from the late Hallstatt period and early La Tène period.

In 1525 its owners were named as the lords of Eyb. The castle was destroyed during the Peasants' War. No above ground ruins of the old castle have survived.
