Bosmansdam High School

Bothasig is a suburban area of the City of Cape Town in Western Cape, South Africa. It is located north of Edgemead and east of Milnerton. It is located approximately 15 km north-east of the Cape Town city centre. Developed as a township mainly for Tradesmen/women and their families with a max income of R140 a month and laid out on the farm Bosmansdam, which it was initially named after, but renamed in 1966 after P W Botha, then Minister of Community Development and subsequently Prime Minister and State President of the Republic of South Africa.Bothasig is an area located toward the west of the province Western Cape in South Africa. The area is very community focused and hosts the Bothasig Football Club (Abe Sher Stadium) alongside the Bothasig Baseball Club.

Monte Vista is a northern suburb of Cape Town, South Africa, whose name meaning 'Mountain View' is derived from Table Mountain being clearly visible from it. It is bordered by Edgemead, Welgelegen, Plattekloof Glen, and Goodwood. Monte Vista Primary School was built in the 1960s.

Edgemead is one of the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. It is one of several garden cities of South Africa, the first being Pinelands in the southern suburbs. Edgemead is mainly residential, and as the name 'garden city' suggests, is noted for its trees, gardens and generally pleasant environment. Other 'garden cities' that have followed are Pinehurst near Durbanville on the northwestern outskirts of the Cape Metropole, still under construction but already occupied, and Sunningdale near Milnerton. There are two schools in Edgemead: Edgemead Primary and Edgemead High School. Edgemead has the Edgemead Football Club (ECC), which has recently been promoted to the premier league. And Edgemead Goodwood Peninsula Park Villa, a Association football club located in Edgemead that plays in the Premier Division of the Tygerburg Capetown FA. The neighbourhood is also the location of the Goodwood Centre of Excellence, a medium security prison run by the South African Department of Correctional Services.

The Milnerton Racecourse Nature Reserve is a lowland conservation area located in the City of Cape Town, South Africa. It forms part of the greater Table Bay Nature Reserve, proclaimed in June 2012.

Goodwood Centre of Excellence or Goodwood Correctional Centre is a medium security prison in Edgemead, Cape Town and run by the South African Department of Correctional Services. Despite its location in Edgemead the prison is named after the nearby neighbourhood of Goodwood.

Joe Slovo Park is a township located between Milnerton and Montague Gardens near Cape Town, South Africa.

Milnerton Racecourse is located in Milnerton, Western Cape, South Africa and is owned and managed by Gold Circle. Though the racecourse is not used for races anymore, it is still used for the training and stabling of racing horses. Much of Gold Circle's land around the race track was sold for the development of the Royal Ascot residential precinct. The land inside the race tracks was retained by the City of Cape Town for nature conservation purposes. This conservation land was formerly called the Royal Ascot Conservation Area, but is now called the Milnerton Racecourse Nature Reserve.

Richwood is a small suburb situated on the northern outskirts of Cape Town, South Africa and is about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) north-east of the city alongside the N7 freeway. According to the 2011 census it has a population of 2,988 residents in 963 households. The name is a portmanteau of "Richmond Park" and "Goodwood".

Killarney Gardens is an industrial area of Cape Town with no population or households. It is located about 30 minutes away from the harbour and the airport and situated between the N1, the N7 and Plattekloof roads.Neighbouring suburbs include Milnerton Rural, Dunoon, Richwood, and Flamingo Vlei. The ward councillor for the area is Joy McCarthy from the Democratic Alliance.

Milnerton is a seaside town on Table Bay and is located north of Cape Town in South Africa. It is located 11 kilometres to the north of the city's centre.

The Table Bay Nature Reserve is an 880-hectare (2,200-acre) nature reserve in Milnerton, Western Cape, South Africa. It consists of several smaller constituent reserves including Rietvlei Wetland Reserve, Diep River Fynbos Corridor, Zoarvlei Wetlands, Milnerton Racecourse Nature Reserve, and Milnerton Lagoon, as well as surrounding protected areas. These adjacent reserves were amalgamated on 27 June 2012, in order to improve the biodiversity management in the built-up area. It is managed by the City of Cape Town's Environmental Resource Management Department, with offices at Rietvlei.The Table Bay Nature Reserve forms the southernmost buffer area of the Cape West Coast Biosphere Reserve, and links it to the edge of Cape Town's city centre. It also contains a large portion of the critically endangered lowland habitats remaining in Cape Town. The central feature in the Table Bay Nature Reserve is the Rietvlei wetland system. The Rietvlei Wetlands and Milnerton Lagoon were proclaimed as a Nature Area on 3 August 1984, in proclamation number 1632 of Provincial Gazette No. 9345. The Nature Reserve is partly owned by the City of Cape Town and the World Wildlife Fund for Nature – South Africa, who own two of the Erven. The City of Cape Town manages these two Erven on a 99-year lease for the purposes of nature conservation.
