El Verger (Valencian pronunciation: [el veɾˈdʒeɾ]; Spanish: Vergel [beɾˈxel]) is a town of 4,992 inhabitants situated 3 kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea and 8 kilometres from Dénia, in the Comarca of Marina Alta, Land of Valencia, Spain. The main attractions are the Main Street, two medieval towers and a neoclassical church. The town's crest, recently resuscitated, pays homage to its name: it displays two trees and four flowers. The Prime Meridian crosses El Verger.

The town is situated at the foot of the Muntanya Gran and close to the two larger coastal towns of Dénia and Xàbia. It has a population of 7097 (as of 2008). It is also close to the Jalon Valley which is famous for its springtime almond tree blossom.Pedreguer Rastro is a sort of flea market in the town. Sunday morning is flea market day. Held on the polygons where people flock from all over the Costa Blanca to buy and sell produce, clothing, gifts, home made jams, chutneys and much more. Saturday morning is the farmers market held in the town. The main high street has a church, police station and the town hall. A Sports centre is located on the polygons with an outdoor swimming pool and other sports facilities. La Sella resort comes under Pedreguer town which has a golf course, tennis club and local bars and restaurants including the Brassa Armells.Fiestas in Pedreguer include bull runs to firework displays.Local beaches include Denia, El Verger, Els Poblets and Oliva.

Benidoleig (Valencian pronunciation: [beniðoˈletʃ]) is a municipality in the comarca of Marina Alta in the Valencian Community, Spain. Benidoleig is located in the Girona Valley of the Marina Alta area in Spain's Costa Blanca. Among the various amenities within the village is a junior/infant school, nursery school (local authority run), medical centre, post office (open 1 hour per day), supermarket, tobacconist/newsagents, hardware store, curtain shop, hairdresser, estate agent/sign shop, printers, bank, pharmacy and various Spanish bars. The village is also well catered with a Spanish restaurant (La Lloma) and an International restaurant (El Cid Restaurant & Bar). There is a large expatriate community in Benidoleig but it has not spoilt the essence of the village as incomers have integrated easily within the Spanish community. The village hosts a small market on Thursday mornings, where fresh fruit & veg, meat & fish, and clothes, shoes and general household items can be purchased. There is no public transport in the village. The nearest large supermarket is in neighbouring town of Ondara, some 6 km away.

It is situated in the River Gerona valley and is bordered by Pego to the north; Benidoleig and Ondara to the north-east; Jalón and Pedreguer to the east and Parcent and Alcalali to the south. The town has many commercial premises including mini-supermarkets, restaurants and cafe-bars, hair stylist salons and a barbers shop. The town is also well served with four banks, two builders merchants and two estate agents. In addition to the indigenous population, the town and surrounding area is now home to expatriates from throughout the European Union, many of whom are permanent residents and are gainfully employed within the local community.

Castle of Aixa, also known as Castell de la Solana (not to be confused with the current landhouse in Alcalalí named Castell de la Solana), consists of the remains of the ancient castle in the mountains of the Castellet de Aixa in the highest part of Beniquesi, a location in the municipal district of Alcalalí (Spain), 600 meters above sea level, between Llosa de Camacho and Jalón and covering the entire Pop Valley.The castle is in ruins and only some remains of its base and walls can be seen. Its rectangular tower of 12 by 4 meters has three shallow pools and a fountain.

Alcalalí (Spanish and Valencian: [alkalaˈli]) is a Valencian municipality in the comarca of Marina Alta, province of Alicante, Spain. It is situated in the Pop Valley (Vall de Pop) between the Serra del Ferrer and the mounts of Segili. It is bordered by Pedreguer and Benidoleig to the north, Jalón and Llíber to the east; Orba, Murla, Benigembla and Parcent to the west and Tàrbena to the south.
