Beurs-World Trade Center is located on the Coolsingel and Beursplein in the centre of Rotterdam. It is a major business centre in Rotterdam with approximately 200 offices. The building is 93 meters high. The center is a member of the international World Trade Centers Association.

Rotterdam City Hall was built between 1914 and 1920 by Henri Evers. It is one of the few buildings in the center of Rotterdam that survived the bombing of May 14, 1940. Since 10 October 2000 it has been recognized as a Rijksmonument.

The Schielandtoren (Dutch for Schieland Tower) is a 101 metres (331 feet) tall apartment building in the Dutch city Rotterdam. The building is situated along Bulgersteyn, a street, and is part of a city block with shops among other things. The city block is part of the multipurpose complex Beursplein. Het Schielandshuis, a 17th-century building, is located across the street. The building has a total of 32 aboveground floors with 109 apartments. The floor area amounts to 18,300 m2 (197,000 sq ft). A parking garage of Q-Park with 435 parking spaces is located in close proximity of the Schielandtoren.

Coolsingel is one of the best known streets in central Rotterdam. It is located in the Cool district. The street leads from the Hofplein to the Churchillplein. Plans were announced in 2016 to reduce traffic congestion on the street. The redevelopment is expected to cost 47 million euros and to be finished by 2020. In 2021 the renovation was finished giving cyclists and pedestrians more space. Car traffic was reduced from 4 lanes (2 in each direction) to 2 lanes (1 in each direction).

Amarone is a restaurant in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that is awarded one Michelin star in the period 2008–present. The owner and Head chef of Amarone is Jan van Dobben. Chef van Dobben worked together with Gert Blom for 6 years. Mr. van Dobben became the co-owner of the restaurant in 2017. 1 year later, in July 2018, he completely took over the restaurant from Mr Blom. Chef van Dobben remained, together with his wife, Yoshiko Takayama-van Dobben, Restaurant-manager Jasper Verhagen and Sous-chef Yuri Wattimena, his Michelin-star in December 2018. GaultMillau awarded the restaurant in 2019 with 15 out of 20 points. In 2019, Restaurant Amarone situated on the 60th place in the "Lekker 500"

Beurs is a major subway interchange station in the center of Rotterdam. Underneath Churchill Square (Dutch: Churchillplein), the two lines through the city center (lines A-B-C and lines D-E) intersect. Passengers for Rotterdam Central Station change here to line D if they started their journey on line A, B, or C. All destinations within the network are accessible from Beurs. Since December 2011, it has also been incorporated into the new RandstadRail network, resulting in a direct connection to The Hague (line E).

Stadhuis (Dutch for town hall) is an underground subway station in the city of Rotterdam, and is located on Rotterdam Metro lines D and E. The station opened on 9 February 1968, the same date that the North-South Line (also temporarily called Erasmus line), of which it is a part, was opened. The station is located in the center of Rotterdam, underneath the Coolsingel, a major street through the center.

SkyView Rotterdam was a 45-meter-tall Ferris wheel in the center of Rotterdam. It opened to the public on September 4, 2018, and was decommissioned in July 2019. Some residents of Markthal protested its construction citing privacy concerns. It was expected to stay for five years, but operated for less than one year. It may relocate to Spain.

Grote of Sint-Laurenskerk (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɣroːtə ʔɔf sɪnt ˈlʌurənskɛr(ə)k]; English: Great, or St. Lawrence Church) is a Protestant church in Rotterdam. It is the only remnant of the medieval city of Rotterdam.

Joelia is a restaurant in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The restaurant received a Michelin star in 2016. The Dutch royal couple Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands celebrated their fifteenth wedding anniversary in Joelia. During the corona pandemic, the restaurant devised a way to welcome diners despite the new corona rules for restaurants and cafes. For a tenner extra, they were registered as hotel guests of the Hilton Hotel located above. Guests could enter the one-star restaurant through the hotel lobby. It caused many negative reactions. It was then decided to keep the restaurant's doors closed for the next four weeks anyway. This decision was taken in consultation with the municipality of Rotterdam.

Hofplein is a major public town square in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The square lies on a crossing of the Weena, the Schiekade and the Coolsingel. In the center of the square a large fountain is situated. Near the square lay the former Rotterdam Hofplein railway station.

The Maritime Museum Rotterdam is a maritime museum in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Dedicated to naval history, it was founded in 1874 by Prince Henry of the Netherlands. Next to the Maritime Museum lies the open-air Maritime Museum Harbour, which merged with the Maritime Museum in 2014. The Maritime Museum Harbour contains an exceptional collection of historic vessels and cranes which are maintained in working condition.
