The Eyserbosweg is a road located in Eys in the south of Limburg, Netherlands. The road is used as a climb in cycling racing and most famously during the Amstel Gold Race, but is also climbed during the Ster Elektrotoer, Hel van het Mergelland, Olympia's Tour, and the Eneco Tour

Strucht is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. The hamlet was first mentioned in 1603 as Strucht, and means "settlement with shrubbery". It used to belong to the Austrian Netherlands, but was traded with the Dutch Republic in 1785. Strucht was home to 264 people in 1840.Strucht was a separate municipality until 1879, when it was merged with Schin op Geul. In 1982, it became part of the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul.

Schin op Geul (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌsxɪn ɔp ˈxøːl], Limburgish: Sjin) is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul, about 3 km southeast of the town of Valkenburg.

Schin op Geul railway station is located in Schin op Geul, the Netherlands. The station opened on 23 October 1853 on the Maastricht–Aachen railway. In 1914, Schin op Geul became one end of a Heerlen–Schin op Geul railway. The station building is used as a restaurant as well as a waiting area.

Oud-Valkenburg (English: Old-Falkenburg) is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul, and has about 115 inhabitants.Although small, Oud-Valkenburg counts several monuments, among which are two medieval castles: Genhoes and Schaloen. Noteworthy is also the Roman Catholic church of Saint John the Baptist (medieval nave; choir and baroque altar inside by Johann Joseph Couven).

The hermitage at Schaelsberg (Dutch: kluis op de Schaelsberg, Limburgish: kloes op de Sjaatsberg) is a monumental hermitage in Schin op Geul, in the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul, Netherlands. Built in 1688 for the lords of nearby Schaloen Castle, the chapel and attached living space, housed a succession of 16 hermits from its foundation until 1930. The chapel and nearby stations of the cross, added in 1843, are a national monument. Since 1758 a yearly procession, the Sjaasbergergank, is held to the hermitage, and this procession is listed as national intangible cultural heritage. Located in a tourist area of South Limburg, it is a popular tourist attraction.

Walem is a hamlet with about 200 inhabitants in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is largely in the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul, but a small part lies in Voerendaal. It was first mentioned in 1360 as Walheym, and means "settlement of the Walloons".Walem has place name signs. It was home to 167 people in 1840.

Schaloen Castle is a castle in Oud-Valkenburg in the South Limburg municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul in The Netherlands. The castle is a national monument . Together with the Johannes de Doperkerk and Genhoes, it is part of the protected face of Oud Valkenburg. It is also part of the Buitengoed Geul & Maas.

Klimmen-Ransdaal railway station is located between the villages of Klimmen and Ransdaal in the municipality of Voerendaal, the Netherlands. The station was designed in the traditionalist style by George van Heukelom and built in 1913 on the Heerlen–Schin op Geul railway. The station opened on 1 March 1915.It became national heritage site #507162 on 11 November 1998.

Gulpen-Wittem (Dutch: [ˈɣʏlpə(ɱ) ˈʋɪtəm] ; Limburgish: Gullepe-Wittem [ˈɣʏləpə ˈwɪtəm]) is a municipality in the southeastern Netherlands (in the province of Limburg) with 14,206 inhabitants as of 2021. Gulpen-Wittem came into being after the merger of the municipalities Gulpen and Wittem. This took place after a request of both municipalities. At the time of the merger, both municipalities had about 8000 inhabitants, although Wittem was bigger than Gulpen. The town hall was situated in Gulpen, and has kept its function as town hall in the new municipality. The former town hall of Wittem was situated in a manor house in Mechelen since 1986, which is now being used as a "nursing hostel". The municipality is rural, with many castles, half-timbered houses and old monumental farms. Yearly, Gulpen-Wittem attracts many tourists from the entire country because of its relatively sloping landscape, especially during the summer.

The Gulp ([ˈɣʏl(ə)p]; Limburgish: [ˈɣʏl(ə)p]; French: Galoppe) is a 21 kilometres (13 mi) long river in eastern Belgium and southeastern Netherlands. It flows through the Belgian provinces of Liège and Limburg, and the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a strongly meandering, fast flowing, left-bank tributary of the Geul river. Because of it strong meanders, it is difficult to determine its exact length. During Roman times, the river was called Galopia or Gulippa, meaning little Geul or upper brook. The Gulp is a real trout stream: flowing fast and rich in oxygen. Brown trout are abundant. The landscape of the narrow Gulp valley resembles much the valley of the Geul: a fascinating mixture of deciduous forests, meadows, farmland, muddy banks, stream pools, orchards and holle wegen (eroded dirt roads).
