Wadi Daliyeh

Khirbet el-Mastarah is an archaeological site that includes the largest of the complex oval compound type habitation sites located in the middle Jordan Valley in the West Bank.

Gilgal (Hebrew: גלגל) is an Israeli settlement organized as a kibbutz in the West Bank. Located in the Jordan Valley around 16 kilometres north of Jericho with an area of 1,400 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of Bik'at HaYarden Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 229. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Netiv HaGdud (Hebrew: נְתִיב הַגְּדוּד, lit. 'Path of the Battalion') is an Israeli settlement organized as a moshav in the West Bank. Located in the Jordan Valley around twenty kilometres north of Jericho, it falls under the jurisdiction of Bik'at HaYarden Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 214. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Tomer (Hebrew: תֹּמֶר, lit. 'Palm Tree') is an Israeli settlement organized as a moshav in the West Bank. Located in the Jordan Valley next to the Palestinian village of Fasayil, it falls under the jurisdiction of Bik'at HaYarden Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 310. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Fasayil or Fasa'il (Arabic: فصايل), ancient Phasaelis, is a Palestinian village in the northeastern West Bank, a part of the Jericho Governorate, located 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) northwest of Jericho and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) southeast of Nablus. The closest Palestinian locality is Duma to the west. The village is located 2 km south of the Israeli settlement of Petza'el. According to the 2017 census by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the village had a population of 1,637.

The Jericho Governorate (Arabic: محافظة أريحا, romanized: Muḥāfaẓat Arīḥā) is one of 16 Governorates of Palestine. Its capital is Jericho. The governorate is located along the eastern areas of the West Bank, along the northern Dead Sea and southern Jordan River valley bordering Jordan. It spans west to the mountains east of Ramallah and the eastern slopes of Jerusalem, including the northern reaches of the Judaean Desert. The population of the Jericho Governorate is estimated to be 50,002, including 13,334 Palestinian refugees in the governorate's camps. Ein es-Sultan (also known as "Elisha's Spring") is an oasis in Jericho, one of the main tourist attractions in the area.

Na'aran (Hebrew: נערן), formerly known as Niran (נִירָן) is an Israeli settlement organized as a kibbutz in the West Bank. Located in Area C of the Jordan Valley near Jericho, it falls under the jurisdiction of Bik'at HaYarden Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 109. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

On 12 April 2024, 14-year-old Benjamin Achimeir (Hebrew: בנימין אחימאיר, romanized: Binyamin Achimair) was declared missing after he left a farm near the Israeli outpost of Malachei HaShalom to go shepherding in the West Bank, sparking a 24-hour search by Israeli authorities. The following day, his body was found by a drone near the area he went missing. His death was attributed to blunt trauma, but his body also had stab wounds, according to Israeli authorities. Israeli authorities ruled the killing as a terrorist attack, attributing it to "one or more Palestinian terrorists". His disappearance sparked Israeli settler rampages in Palestinian villages in the West Bank that escalated after his body was found.

Petza'el (Hebrew: פְּצָאֵל) is a moshav and Israeli settlement in the West Bank. Located in the center of the Jordan Valley, 34.5 kilometers from the Green line, it falls under the jurisdiction of Bik'at HaYarden Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 371. It is named for Phasael, older brother of Herod the Great, for whom he had named a city nearby in ancient times. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli and US governments dispute this.

al-Mughayyir (Arabic: المغيّر) is a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, located 27 kilometers Northeast of Ramallah and 34 kilometers Southeast of Nablus, in the northern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the village had a population of 2,872 inhabitants in 2017.

Duma (Arabic: دوما, also spelled as Douma) is a Palestinian town in the Nablus Governorate in the northern West Bank, located 25 kilometers southeast of Nablus. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the town had a population of 2,674 inhabitants in 2017. Duma's total land area consists of 17,351 dunams, about 200 of which are designated as built-up area. The Duma arson attack in 2015, perpetrated by Israeli settlers, resulted in the death of an 18 months old child and both his parents in the village.

On 31 July 2015, Israeli settlers firebombed a Palestinian family home in late July 2015 in the village of Duma, killing three people; 18-month-old Ali Dawabsheh was burned alive in the fire, while both his parents died from their injuries within weeks. On 3 January 2016, 21 year old Israeli settler Amiram Ben-Uliel was indicted for the murder, along with an Israeli minor, for participation in planning the murder. In addition, along with two others, they were both charged with one count of membership in a terrorist organization. In 2020, Ben-Uliel was convicted of three counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder, three counts of arson and of conspiring to commit a racially motivated crime, as part of a "terrorist act". However, he was acquitted of the charge of being a member of a terror organization. He was sentenced to life imprisonment.
