St Peter's Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral in the South Australian capital of Adelaide. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Adelaide and Metropolitan of the Province of South Australia. The cathedral, a significant Adelaide landmark, is situated on approximately 1 acre (0.40 ha) of land at the corner of Pennington Terrace and King William Road in the suburb of North Adelaide. The south front has similar features to the Cathedral of Notre Dame and the Church of St Jean-Baptiste de Belleville in Paris, including an ornate rose window above the main entrance which depicts stories of South Australia and the Bible.

St Mark's College is a university co-residential college in North Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1925, it is affiliated with the Anglican Church of Australia. It is the oldest residential college in South Australia and is associated with the University of Adelaide, the University of South Australia and Flinders University. Located next to St Peter's Cathedral on Pennington Terrace, the College houses 245 tertiary students in both dormitory and apartment accommodation.

St Barnabas College is an Australian theological school in North Adelaide, South Australia. The college is affiliated with the Anglican Church of Australia and Charles Sturt University.

The Anglican Diocese of Adelaide is a diocese of the Anglican Church of Australia. It is centred in the city of Adelaide in the state of South Australia and extends along the eastern shore of the Gulf St Vincent from the town of Eudunda in the north to Aldgate in the south. The diocesan cathedral is Saint Peter's Cathedral in Adelaide. The diocese was founded in 1847 with Augustus Short as the first bishop. The incumbent Archbishop of Adelaide since 2017 has been Geoffrey Smith, who has also been the Anglican Primate of Australia since 2020.

The Women's and Children's Hospital is located on King William Road in North Adelaide, Australia. It is one of the major hospitals in Adelaide and is a teaching hospital of the University of Adelaide, the University of South Australia and Flinders University. It was created through the amalgamation of the Queen Victoria Hospital and Adelaide Children's Hospital in March 1989. The new (in name) hospital occupies the site of the former Adelaide Children's Hospital. The hospital is part of the Children, Youth and Women's Health Service along with the Child and Youth Health. The Children's and adolescents' wards cater for all paediatric specialities. The women's wards cater for antenatal, gynaecology, neonatal, and postnatal disciplines. The Women's & Children's Hospital Foundation is the primary charity for the hospital and exists to raise money and invest initiatives that support the care and future health of South Australia's women, babies and children. The hospital is part of the wider Women's and Children's Health Network, which includes the Child and Family Health Service, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, Metropolitan Youth Health, Women's Health, Yarrow Place, Torrens House and Helen Mayo House. Brougham Place is a street lined with large mansions set in landscaped grounds in the Adelaide suburb of North Adelaide, South Australia. It surrounds Brougham Gardens, (Park 29 of the Adelaide Park Lands), that joins the three grids that comprise North Adelaide. It was named after Henry Brougham, 1st Baron Brougham and Vaux. He was a staunch supporter of the 1832 Reform Act and the passing of this Act led to the third and successful attempt to found a colony in SA in 1834.Brougham Place starts and finishes at its intersection with LeFevre Terrace and Stanley Street and runs anti-clockwise around Brougham Gardens. Adelaide Oval is a sports ground in Adelaide, South Australia, located in the parklands between the city centre and North Adelaide. The venue is predominantly used for cricket and Australian rules football, but has also played host to rugby league, rugby union, soccer, tennis among other sports as well as regularly being used to hold concerts. Austadiums.com described Adelaide Oval as being "one of the most picturesque Test cricket grounds in Australia, if not the world". After the completion of the ground's most recent redevelopment in 2014, sports journalist Gerard Whateley described the venue as being "the most perfect piece of modern architecture because it's a thoroughly contemporary stadium with all the character that it's had in the past".Adelaide Oval has been headquarters to the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) since 1871 and South Australian National Football League (SANFL) since 2014. The stadium is managed by the Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority (AOSMA). Its record crowd for cricket was 55,317 for the Second Ashes Test on 2 December 2017 and its record crowd for an Australian rules football match was 62,543 at the 1965 SANFL Grand Final between Port Adelaide and Sturt.

Melbourne Street is a street situated in the Adelaide suburb of North Adelaide, South Australia. It is the main commercial area of the second-largest of the three grids that comprise North Adelaide. It was named after William Lamb, 2nd Viscount Melbourne (after whom Melbourne is also named), who was British Prime Minister when the South Australia Foundation Act received parliamentary approval.Melbourne Street is bracketed by Brougham Place and Mann Road and runs in a north-easterly direction. It principally consists of cafes, restaurants, boutique businesses and retail shops. The street also contains many colonial-era buildings. Two of the well-known buildings on the street are The Old Lion Hotel, which was built as part of a brewery and is now a fashionable public house, and Buffalo Cottage, which was built in 1851. St Ann's College is also located nearby.

Lincoln College is a Uniting Church in Australia residential college affiliated with the University of Adelaide. It was established by the Methodist Church of Australasia in 1952 and is named after Lincoln College, Oxford at which John Wesley was a fellow. Lincoln College started as a men's college and admitted women in 1973. Currently, the college has 180 residents, with about 15% international students.

University Oval, referred to by the University of Adelaide, Adelaide University Sports Association and various other groups, is a part of Park 12 in the Adelaide Parklands located across the River Torrens opposite the University of Adelaide. Park 12, (also referred to by its Kaurna name Karrawirra, meaning "river red gum forest") is one of the 29 Parks that make up the Adelaide Park Lands. It consists of 55.5 hectares bounded by North Terrace, Frome Road, Sir Edwin Smith Avenue and King William RoadBisected by the River Torrens, the northern part of the Park contains the University playing fields. Along North Terrace, the southern part of the Park contains the University of South Australia (City East campus), the University of Adelaide (main campus), the Art Gallery, the Museum, the State Library, the War Memorial, Government House, the Boer War Memorial, the Jubilee 150 Walkway, and numerous statues. The southern part also contains the Torrens Parade Ground, Jolly's Boat House, and a number of Rowing Club boathouses. Park 12 is home to the Peace Park,Angas Gardens, Roberts Reserve, Grundy Gardens, the Cross of Sacrifice Garden, the South Australian Naval Memorial Garden, Lady Esther Lipman Gardens, Pioneer Women's Memorial Garden, Town Clerk’s Avenue/ Walk and the Pathway of Honour.

Montefiore Hill is a small hill in North Adelaide, South Australia, which affords a view over the Adelaide city centre.
