Norma is an unincorporated community located within Pittsgrove Township in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Norma is located at the junction of County Routes 540 and 638, west of Vineland. Norma has a post office with ZIP Code 08347, which opened on June 29, 1888.

The Alliance Colony was a Jewish agricultural community that was founded on May 10, 1882, in Pittsgrove Township, in Salem County, New Jersey, United States. It was named after the Alliance Israélite Universelle of Paris and was funded by the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society of New York and Philadelphia and The Baron De Hirsch Fund.

Centreville Township was a township that existed from 1822 to 1829 in Salem County, New Jersey, United States. The township was incorporated by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 4, 1822, from portions of Pittsgrove Township. Just short of its seventh anniversary, the township was dissolved and its territory restored to Pittsgrove Township from whence it came.

As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 8,777, a decrease of 616 (−6.6%) from the 2010 census count of 9,393, which in turn reflected an increase of 500 (+5.6%) from the 8,893 counted in the 2000 census.Pittsgrove Township was formed by Royal charter on December 6, 1769 and was incorporated by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 21, 1798, as one of the initial group of 104 townships established in New Jersey. Portions of the township were taken on March 4, 1822, to form Centreville Township (which was restored in 1829 when the township was dissolved), on March 10, 1846, to form Upper Pittsgrove Township and on January 28, 1893, to form Elmer borough. The township was named for William Pitt, 1st Earl of Chatham, a supporter of the colonial cause.

Landis Intermediate School used to be a public middle school in Vineland, Cumberland County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Vineland Public Schools. Its last year was 2017-2018. The only grades that were held those years were 7th and 8th. It opened as Vineland High School in 1928 and was designed by James Oscar Betelle. As the population of Vineland grew and Vineland High School got overcrowded, it became necessary to construct a new high school. With the construction of Vineland Senior High School South in 1963 (and the further construction of Vineland Senior High School North in 1976) Vineland High School got degraded to Landis Intermediate School. As of the 2008-09 school year, the school had an enrollment of 503 students and 48.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 10.3.Listed as the Vineland High School, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 3, 1995, for its significance in architecture and education.
