The Jacks Mountain Covered Bridge (officially known as the G. Donald McLaughlin Memorial Covered Bridge) is an historic American covered bridge which is located in Hamiltonban Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve and Environmental Center is a non-profit environmental education and conservation organization located on 609 acres (2.46 km2) of land in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of south-central Pennsylvania in Fairfield, Pennsylvania. Nestled in the foothills of the South Mountain Range, the Preserve features 10 miles (16 km) of trails with diverse habitats, including wet and dry woodlands, three ponds, and two mountain streams. The property protects part of the Middle Creek watershed. The nature center features with various artifacts, live reptiles, amphibians, and educational displays. Other facilities include a 1798 log house, a foundation and spillway for an 1850s sawmill, and an outdoor open picnic pavilion. Education programs are offered for adults, school and community groups, as well as public nature programs.

Fairfield Historic District is a national historic district located at Fairfield in Adams County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 117 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site, and 2 contributing structures. It encompasses the central business district and surrounding residential areas of Fairfield, including the Daniel Musselman Farm. They primarily date from the late-18th to the mid-19th century. It includes several homes used as hospitals following the July 3, 1863, 6th U.S. Cavalry skirmish during the Battle of Fairfield of the Gettysburg Campaign. The Musselman Farm property served as the field hospital for Johnson's Division of the Confederate States Army. Notable buildings include the John Miller Manor House (1797), Greek Revival architecture-style Musselman Farmhouse and stone / frame barn complex, Lutheran and Roman Catholic churches, Mrs. Blythe House, and R.C. Swope House. Located in the district is the separately listed Fairfield Inn.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

The Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC), also known as Site R, is a U.S. military installation with an underground nuclear bunker near Blue Ridge Summit, Pennsylvania, at Raven Rock Mountain that has been called an "underground Pentagon".: 2  The bunker has emergency operations centers for the United States Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps. Along with Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center in Virginia and the Cheyenne Mountain Complex in Colorado, it formed the core bunker complexes for the US continuity of government plan during the Cold War to survive a nuclear attack.

Jacks Mountain Tunnel is a railroad tunnel located in Adams County, Pennsylvania about 2.5 miles (4.0 km) southwest of Fairfield. It was built in 1889 by the Baltimore and Harrisburg Railway, which was later acquired by the Western Maryland Railway. The tunnel is currently owned by CSX Transportation and operates as part of the Hanover Subdivision.
