Wellsburg Wharf

Miller's Tavern, later known as Brooke County Historical Museum, was a historic inn and tavern located at Wellsburg, Brooke County, West Virginia. It was built in 1797, as a two-story, rectangular brick building with a hipped roof. It sat on a sandstone foundation and lintels. It was one of the Ohio Valley's oldest surviving examples of Federal architecture. It housed the Brooke County Historical Museum from 1973 to 2018. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. This historic building was torn down November 2019 with intentions to erect a municipal building that will house the magistrate court.

It was built in 1858, and is a two-story, five-bay, rectangular brick dwelling with a hipped roof in the Greek Revival style. It features a three-bay portico with a hipped roof and supported by squared Tuscan order columns. It was built by American Civil War General and Congressman Isaac H. Duval (1824-1902). It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Lewis Hall Mansion, also known as the Charles H., III, and Sue Beall House, is a historic home located at Wellsburg, Brooke County, West Virginia. It was built in 1850, and is a two-story, rectangular brick dwelling in the Greek Revival style. It sits on a sandstone ashlar foundation and features a Neoclassical style portico built about 1910. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Wellsburg is a city in and the county seat of Brooke County, West Virginia, United States. The 2020 census recorded a population of 2,455. It is a part of the Weirton–Steubenville metropolitan area. Harry and Louisiana Beall Paull Mansion, also known as "Morningside" and the Charles H. and Geraldine Beall House, is a historic home located at Wellsburg, Brooke County, West Virginia. It was built in 1907–1911, and is a stuccoed dwelling in the Mediterranean Revival style with Spanish Colonial Revival style elements. It features a five bay portico with a hipped roof and eight columns. It also has wrought iron porches and pan tile roofs. It was designed by noted Wheeling architect Frederick F. Faris (1870–1927). It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Wellsburg Historic District is a national historic district located at Wellsburg, Brooke County, West Virginia. It encompasses 693 contributing buildings in the central business district and surrounding residential areas of Wellsburg. Notable buildings include the Brooke County Courthouse (1836), Northwestern Bank of Virginia (1835), Christ Episcopal Church (1887), First Methodist Church (1853), Patrick Gass Cottage (1797, c. 1850), and Crescent Glass factory (c. 1900). Also in the district are a number of residences in popular architectural styles including Greek Revival and Late Victorian. Located within the district are the separately listed Miller's Tavern and Wellsburg Wharf.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Lucy Tarr Mansion, also known as "Highland Place" and Nellie Little House, is a historic home located at Wellsburg, Brooke County, West Virginia. It was built in 1885, and is a 2+1⁄2-story brick dwelling with highly pitched roofs and richly appointed porches in the Queen Anne style. It features a three-story tower with a pyramidal roof covered in fishscale slate. It also has a one-story, ell shaped verandah with turned columns. Also on the property is a contributing barn / garage. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Brilliant is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in eastern Jefferson County, Ohio, United States, along the Ohio River. It was named after the Brilliant Glass factory that once was located in the town. The population was 1,317 as of the 2020 census. It is part of the Weirton–Steubenville metropolitan area. Brilliant was formerly incorporated as a village, but it disincorporated on November 24, 1993.

Beallmore, also known as the William T. Jr., and June Booher House, is a historic mansion located at Wellsburg, Brooke County, West Virginia. It was built in 1907, and is a 2 /2 story brick dwelling with a hipped roof in the Classical Revival style. The brick used is a pressed, glazed orange brick. It features a two-story, tetrastyle portico supported by fluted Corinthian order columns. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Kirker House, also known as the Daniel and Donna Finell House, is a historic home located at Wellsburg, Brooke County, West Virginia. It was built in 1884 and is a two-story, rectangular brick dwelling in the High Victorian Italianate style. It measures 42 by 35 feet (13 m × 11 m) and has a shallow-pitched hipped roof. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Elmhurst, also known as the William H. Tarr House or William and Carol Lynn Residence, is a historic country home located at Wellsburg, Brooke County, West Virginia. It was built in 1848, and is a two-story, five-bay, rectangular brick dwelling with a hipped roof in the Greek Revival style. It sits on a stone ashlar foundation and features a single bay portico with a hipped roof supported by Tuscan order columns. Also on the property is a contributing small barn. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
