First Congregational Church (Eugene, Oregon)

The Old Beta Theta Pi Fraternity House is a historic building in Eugene, Oregon, United States. It is an American Foursquare in the American Craftsman (or American Craftsman Bungalow) style, showing considerable Prairie School influence. It was built in 1906-1907 by John B. Kronebusch, for between six and seven thousand dollars. Kronebusch leased it to the Beta Theta Pi fraternity for 15 years. It was then purchased by the Delta Zeta sorority, who occupied the house for six years from 1923 to 1929. A two-story addition was constructed in the mid-1930s, of materials compatible with the original house. In 1936, the upper two levels were turned into apartments separate from the first level and were given their own address of 1176 Mill Street. The exterior and all of the apartments retain a high degree of integrity, with minor modifications made mostly before 1937. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Wilder Apartments, also known as Emerald Manor, is an Early Commercial-style apartment building in Eugene, Oregon that was built in 1927. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.The three-story building has 20 units. Each originally had at least one Murphy bed built in.The Wilder Apartments were found to meet historical significance criteria laid out in a 2000 study of "Residential Architecture in Eugene, Oregon, 1850-1950".

The West University Neighborhood (WUN) is a neighborhood in Eugene, Oregon, United States immediately west of the University of Oregon. The neighborhood encompasses the area west from Kincaid Street to Willamette Street, and north from East 19th Avenue to Franklin Boulevard. 97% of the residences in the neighborhood are renter-occupied. The area has been known in the past as a site of several student riots, most notably in 1998, 2001 and 2002, and has also seen several beautification and improvement efforts over the years.

PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center University District is a hospital in Eugene, Oregon, United States. Originally called Sacred Heart Medical Center, its new name reflects its location near the University of Oregon and Northwest Christian University. It is one of two Sacred Heart facilities in the Eugene-Springfield area owned by PeaceHealth. The other facility, Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend, is in Springfield. Sacred Heart in Eugene had been the largest hospital in the area until the newer facility at RiverBend opened in August 2008. Most general services moved to the larger hospital. This facility became a specialty services hospital but retains an emergency department. Other services that are still located here include the Oregon Rehabilitation Center, Behavioral Health Services, and the Gamma Knife Center.

The Daniel and Catherine Christian House, located in Eugene, Oregon, is a house listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Constructed c. 1855, the house is the oldest residential structure in Eugene and one of six remaining classical revival houses in Lane County.Daniel Christian was among the early settlers in the Eugene area. In 1853 he built a log cabin on his Donation Land Claim, and in 1855 he built the subject house at the edge of what became the Christian Addition on early maps of downtown Eugene.

The Chi Psi Fraternity House is a 1935 Tudor style, stucco over wood-frame structure near the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. Some describe the style as Arts and Crafts. The house was designed by Richard Sundeleaf as a residence for Chi Psi club members. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

The Christian–Patterson Rental Property is a two-story, Italianate house built about 1890 in Eugene, Oregon. The house was constructed by Daniel Christian as a rental property for his daughter, Ethenda. Sarah Patterson, another of Christian's daughters, purchased the property in 1903. Patterson had married Abram S. Patterson, an early Eugene mayor, merchant, and postmaster.A survey of historic resources in the West University Neighborhood found 339 residential structures, but only five of them were historic and in the Italianate style.

The Stratton House is a 1.5-story Vernacular Craftsman bungalow built in 1911 in Eugene, Oregon. Vernacular architecture is a designation that indicates local or folk use of style and materials. The house was designed and constructed by Louis H. E. Stratton for Sarah Patterson, a rental property owner. Patterson rented the house to Stratton until 1920, when records show he became the owner.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Great Blue Heron is an outdoor 2012 sculpture by Jud Turner, installed at the intersection of East 13th Avenue and Alder Street in Eugene, Oregon, in the United States. The 16-foot (4.9 m) sculpture is made of fifty percent recycled materials and fifty percent new steel. It was unveiled on October 18, 2012, two days before Eugene's 150th birthday. The work was commissioned by The Duck Store, the University of Oregon, and the City of Eugene.

The John G. Shedd Institute for the Arts, is a performing arts company, cultural arts center, and community music school in Eugene, Oregon, United States. The institute has three performance venues, various community meeting rooms, and extensive music education facilities. It presents annually an array of culturally diverse festivals, concert series and educational programs that focus on, but are not limited to, American music.
