Vattanac Capital (Khmer: វឌ្ឍនៈកាពីតាល) is a 187.3-metre (615 ft), 39-storey building in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It is owned by Vattanac Properties Limited, an affiliate of the Vattanac Bank. Construction started in 2009 and the building topped out in May 2012. The majority of the building opened in 2014, while the hotel opened in 2018. The tower is the second skyscraper in Cambodia.

Central Market station is a station on Line 01 and Line 03 of the Phnom Penh BRT bus rapid transit network in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, located on Monivong Boulevard. It is located outside of the Central Market.

Phnom Penh Royal railway station (French: Gare de Phnom Penh) is a railway station in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It is located next to the University of Health Sciences and the National University of Management as well as the Canadian embassy. This station was renovated and formally reopened October 22, 2010. Scheduled passenger train services between Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville resumed in May 2016 after having been suspended for 14 years. After that, many passenger train service continue to resume. As of May 2021, there is scheduled train service between Phnom Penh to Krong Pursat, Krong Battambang, Krong Sisophon, and Poipet. There will be a passenger train service from Phnom Penh to Bangkok by 2022. In April 2018, trains operated by Royal Railway began running express from Phnom Penh International Airport to Phnom Penh railway station. As of 2019, Royal Railway runs 44 trains each day, and 15–16 freight trains to Sihanoukville and Poipet.

The University of Health Sciences (UHS; Khmer: សាកលវិទ្យាល័យវិទ្យាសាស្រ្តសុខាភិបាល, ស.វ.ស.; French: Université des sciences de la santé, USS) is a public university offering degrees in health sciences (medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, public health, etc.) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The National University of Management (NUM; Khmer: សាកលវិទ្យាល័យជាតិគ្រប់គ្រង) is a business school in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, located near Phnom Penh Railway Station. The university provides training programmes to all people in the areas of management, economics, commerce, IT, business law, tourism, and foreign languages, accompanied by research and development in response to the needs of the job market.

Freedom Park, also known as Democracy Park (Khmer: ទីលានប្រជាធិបតេយ្យ, Tiléan Prâchéathĭbâtéyy), is a 1.2-hectare plaza in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The park has been the location and focus for political demonstrations against Prime Minister Hun Sen's regime.

The Lycée français René Descartes de Phnom Penh is a private French school in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, operated under agreement with the Agency for French Education Abroad (Agence pour l'enseignement français à l'étranger; AEFE). The school serves up until terminale, the final year of lycée (senior high school). Degrees offered include the Brevet des Collèges and the Baccalauréat (S, ES and L depending on demand). Classes range from petite section (maternelle) to terminale (S, ES, L) The school has one canteen, a basketball court and a handball court (which can be transformed in a soccer football court), a gym, and a swimming pool.

Notre Dame Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of Phnom Penh (Khmer: រាជធានីភ្នំពេញវិហារ; French: Cathédrale de Phnom Penh), was a 19th-century French Gothic revival church that served as the cathedral of the Apostolic Vicariate of Phnom Penh. It was located in the Russei Keo District of the city on Monivong Boulevard. The construction of the cathedral began in the 19th century and was overseen by the French colonial government in Cambodia. The architectural style has been described as resembling Reims Cathedral. Shortly after the Khmer Rouge captured Phnom Penh at the end of the Cambodian Civil War, the cathedral was destroyed.

The Central Market (Khmer: ផ្សារធំថ្មី, Phsar Thum Thmei; meaning "New Grand Market") is a market and an art deco landmark in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. The bright yellow building completed in 1937 has a 26-metre high central dome, with four tall arch-roofed arms branching out diagonally across the block, creating vast hallways housing countless stalls and a variety of goods. Initially designed by city architect Jean Desbois, construction works were supervised by French architect Louis Chauchon. When it first opened in 1937, it was said to be the biggest market in Asia; today it still operates as a market.

Phnom Penh (; Khmer: ភ្នំពេញ, Phnum Pénh [pʰnomˈpɨɲ]; is the capital and most populous city of Cambodia. It has been the national capital since the French protectorate of Cambodia, and has grown to become the nation's economic, industrial, and cultural centre. Phnom Penh was founded in 1434 to succeed Angkor Thom as the capital of the Khmer nation but was abandoned several times before being reestablished in 1865 by King Norodom. The city formerly functioned as a processing center, with textiles, pharmaceuticals, machine manufacturing, and rice milling. Its chief assets, however, were cultural. Institutions of higher learning included the Royal University of Phnom Penh (established in 1960 as Royal Khmer University), with schools of engineering, fine arts, technology, and agricultural sciences, the latter at Chamkar Daung, a suburb. Also located in Phnom Penh were the Royal University of Agronomic Sciences and the Agricultural School of Prek Leap.Once known as the "Pearl of Asia", it was considered one of the loveliest French-built cities in Indochina in the 1920s. Phnom Penh, along with Siem Reap and Sihanoukville, are significant global and domestic tourist destinations for Cambodia. Founded in 1372, the city is noted for its historical architecture and attractions. It became the national capital in 1434 following the fall of Angkor, and remained so until 1497. It regained its capital status during the French colonial era in 1865. There are a number of surviving colonial-era buildings scattered along the grand boulevards. On the banks of the Tonlé Sap, Mekong, and Bassac Rivers, Phnom Penh is home to more than 2 million people, approximately 14% of the Cambodian population. The Greater Phnom Penh area includes the nearby Ta Khmau city and some districts of Kandal province.

Doun Penh or Daun Penh (Khmer: ដូនពេញ, Donpénh [dounpɨɲ], lit. "Grandmother Penh") is a major district (khan) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Many major businesses in Phnom Penh like Sorya Shopping Center and Mokod Pich Jewelry Enterprise are located here. The district has an area of 7.44 km2. According to the 2019 census of Cambodia, it had a population of 155,069.The district is the commercial hub of Phnom Penh, marked by the Central Market with its unique art deco architecture and several major roads which emanate from and pass near the market. The district is subdivided into 11 sangkats and 134 kroms.
