Gorenje Jesenice

Dolenje Jesenice (pronounced [dɔˈleːnjɛ jɛsɛˈniːtsɛ]; German: Unterjessenitz) is a small settlement in the Municipality of Šentrupert in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.

Roženberk (pronounced [ˈɾoːʒənbɛɾk]; in older sources also Rosenberg) is a small settlement north of Dolenje Jesenice in the Municipality of Šentrupert in southeastern Slovenia. Simončič Hayrack, also Simončič Toplar, is a hayrack at the southeastern border of Bistrica in the Municipality of Šentrupert in the traditional region of Lower Carniola. It has been known as the largest and the most beautiful hayrack in Slovenia. It was built in 1936 by Janko Gregorčič (officially Janez Gregorčič; 1906–1984), a carpenter from the nearby Slovenska Vas, on the order of the farmer Jože Simončič. It has been designed as a double hayrack (toplar) with wooden pillars, three pairs of windows and a pitched roof. The gable, which is turned towards the road linking the villages of Mirna and Mokronog, is richly decorated with predominantly plant motives. Simončič Hayrack belongs to the farmstead Bistrica no. 11. Since 2001, it has been protected as a cultural monument of national significance and is the only hayrack in Slovenia with this status. As the most known of over 500 hayracks in the Mirna Valley it supplements the Land of Hayracks, i.e. the museum of hayracks in Šentrupert. Exhibitions of visual arts and other events take place seasonally under its roof, however it is also still used to dry hay and as a place to store agricultural machines.

Martinja Vas pri Mokronogu (pronounced [maɾˈtiːnja ˈʋaːs pɾi mɔˈkɾoːnɔɡu]; Slovene: Martinja vas pri Mokronogu, German: Martinsdorf) is a village immediately north of Mokronog in the Municipality of Mokronog-Trebelno in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.

Bistrica (pronounced [ˈbiːstɾitsa]; German: Feistritz) is a settlement in the Municipality of Šentrupert in southeastern Slovenia. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. The settlement lies on the regional road leading southeast from Mirna to Mokronog in the historical region of Lower Carniola. The rail line from Sevnica to Trebnje runs south of the settlement.

Hrastovica (pronounced [ˈxɾaːstɔʋitsa]) is a village north of Mokronog in the Municipality of Mokronog-Trebelno in southeastern Slovenia. It lies in the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.

Slepšek (pronounced [ˈsleːpʃək]) is a small settlement west of Mokronog in the Municipality of Mokronog-Trebelno in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.The local church is dedicated to Martin of Tours and belongs to the Parish of Mokronog. It has a Romanesque nave with a 16th-century extension. The building was restyled in the Baroque in the mid-18th century.

Prelesje (pronounced [pɾɛˈleːsjɛ]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Šentrupert in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. The railway line from Sevnica to Trebnje runs just south of the settlement.

Hrastno (pronounced [ˈxɾaːstnɔ]) is a settlement in the hills northeast of Šentrupert in the historical region of Lower Carniola in southeastern Slovenia. The Municipality of Šentrupert is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.

Beli Grič (pronounced [ˈbeːli ˈɡɾiːtʃ]; German: Heiligenkreuz) is a small settlement in the Municipality of Mokronog-Trebelno in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.

The Pilgrims' Trail (Slovene: Pot romarjev) is a 28-kilometre-long (17 mi) trail in southeastern Slovenia. It runs from Mount Sorrow (Žalostna gora) above Mokronog through Šentrupert, past the Church of St. Francis Xavier in Vesela Gora ("Mount Joy"), and to the Zaplaz Pilgrimage Church in Čatež. The entire walk takes 6 to 7 hours. An organised pilgrimage takes place on the trail every year on the second Sunday of May. The path is maintained by the mountaineering club from Šentrupert, whereas the event is organised by the cultural society of Šentrupert.
