Nonantola

Nonantola Abbey, dedicated to Saint Sylvester, is a former Benedictine monastery and prelature nullius in the commune of Nonantola, c. 10 km north-east of Modena, in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy. The abbey church remains as a basilica and is the co-cathedral of the diocese of Modena-Nonantola.

Albareto is a meteorite which in July 1766 fell near the frazione Albareto, of Modena, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. (This town is very often erroneously confused with Albareto in the province of Parma.)

Bomporto borders the following municipalities: Bastiglia, Camposanto, Medolla, Modena, Nonantola, Ravarino, San Prospero, Soliera. The town limits hold the Pieve di Sorbara, a romanesque parish church.

The Panzano Observatory was an observatory in the village of Panzano about 3 kilometres (1.9 miles) to the NNW of the centre of the comune of Castelfranco Emilia, near Bologna, Italy, where Giovanni Cassini worked. It was built in the early 1640s by Cornelio Malvasia.

The Battle of the Panaro (or Modena or Castelfranco) was a victory for King Joachim Murat's Neapolitan forces over a smaller Austrian force under Frederick Bianchi on 3 April 1815 early in the Neapolitan War. This defeat on the banks on the Panaro River, just south of Modena forced the Austrians to retreat behind the Po River.

The PalaPanini (officially Palazzo dello Sport "Giuseppe Panini") is an indoor sporting arena located in Modena, Italy. It was open in 1985 and has mainly served as the home venue for volleyball clubs based in and around Modena, with other sporting events (basketball, futsal, table tennis, fencing, judo, martial arts) taking place occasionally. The venue can also accommodate conventions, theatre and music concerts.The sporting complex includes the main play area (52m x 35m) for basketball, volleyball or table tennis, which can be divided into 3 pavilions. The facilities also contain dressing rooms, infirmary, gyms, special rooms (for martial arts and fencing), warehouses, sports medicine ambulatory service, offices, meeting rooms, press room, toilets, bar and ticket office. The capacity is of 4,968 spectators for sporting events.

Automobili Stanguellini was an Italian sport cars manufacturer based in Modena. The company was founded by Vittorio Stanguellini and was mostly active between 1946 and 1960. They produced racing cars until 1981, when Vittorio Stanguellini died. Since then, the company has been run by his son Francesco and offers service for the restoration, maintenance and operation of historic racing cars.

San Lazzaro is a Roman Catholic church in Modena, Italy. It is all that now remains of the former lazaretto or lepers' hospital built to the east of the city in the 12th century.

Maserati has placed a yearly production output cap at 75,000 vehicles globally.
