Winceby is a village in the civil parish of Lusby with Winceby, in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is in the Lincolnshire Wolds, and about 5 miles (8.0 km) from both Horncastle and Spilsby. In 1971 the parish had a population of 24. On 1 April 1987 the parish was abolished to form "Lusby with Winceby". The village is notable for the (Civil War) Battle of Winceby, which took place in 1643, when the Royalist army was defeated by the Roundheads at "Slash Hill". There is a church, St Margaret's, and a garage. The village is very close to the Snipe Dales nature reserve and country park, owned by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.

Claxby Pluckacre is a hamlet in the civil parish of Claxby with Moorby, in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) south-east from the town of Horncastle. In 1971 the parish had a population of 14. On 1 April 1987 the parish was abolished and merged with Moorby to form "Claxby with Moorby". Whilst Claxby Pluckacre is listed in the 1086 Domesday Book, today it is considered a deserted medieval village with slight earthworks visible between Hall Farm and The Grange. Claxby Pluckacre once had a church dedicated to Saint Andrew, which fell down in 1748 and was never rebuilt. The last priest was instituted 1660–62. Whilst nothing remains it can be seen as earthworks. Each year, in July, there is an annual pilgrimage to the site of St Andrew's Church. The Mareham le Fen Victory Silver Band provides the music for a service which commemorates the over 250 villages and hamlets lost in Lincolnshire over the past four centuries.

Miningsby is a small village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Revesby, in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated about 6 miles (10 km) south-east from the town of Horncastle and 6 miles west-southwest from the town of Spilsby. In 1961 the parish had a population of 55. On 1 April 1987 the parish was abolished and merged with Revesby. Miningsby lies at the southern edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Asgarby is a hamlet and former civil parish, now in the parish of Lusby with Winceby, in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It lies just south of the B1195, a road that runs past the battlefield at Winceby. Asgarby is on the opposite side of the road to the battlefield. In 1961 the parish had a population of 22. On 1 April 1987 the parish was abolished to form "Lusby with Winceby". Asgarby was listed in the Domesday Book of 1086.

Snipe Dales is a country park and nature reserve in the Lincolnshire Wolds near Hagworthingham in Lincolnshire, England. The reserve is one of the few remaining examples showing the Wolds as they were. Snipe Dales comprises a raised heathland nature reserve at the west and a semi-natural mostly coniferous woodland country park at the east. It is located within a steep sided valley containing many small streams, sourced from springs, flowing into a larger stream that becomes a tributary of the River Lymn. The country park is 210 acres (0.8 km2) in total of which 90 is woodland previously owned by the Forestry Commission and now by Lincolnshire County Council. The nature reserve and park is jointly managed by the County Council and Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust with help from volunteers. Access is by foot or wheelchair only, although there is a car park with visitor facilities. Dogs are allowed on a short lead in the country park but not in the reserve. The Prime Meridian runs through Snipe Dales and a plaque is at its intersection.

Lusby is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Lusby with Winceby, in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated about 4 miles (6 km) west from Spilsby, and about 5 miles (8 km) east from Horncastle. In 1961 the parish had a population of 68. On 1 April 1987 the parish was abolished to form "Lusby with Winceby". Lusby with Winceby had a population (including Hameringham) of 147 at the 2011 census.

Hareby is a small village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Bolingbroke, in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated 4 miles (6 km) west from the town of Spilsby. In 1961 the parish had a population of 30. On 1 April 1987 the parish was abolished and merged with Bolingbroke. The village is listed in the 1086 Domesday Book. Hareby is now considered a deserted medieval village, and earthworks can be seen south from the church. The parish church sits on Hareby Hill and is dedicated to Saint Peter and Saint Paul; it is a Grade II listed building of greenstone and red brick. The present church dates from 1858, although it reuses details dating from the 14th century. The font dates from the 17th century. The church is the setting for a famous scene in Calamy's history of nonconformist ministers. John Horne, who had been ejected from his benefice at Lynn in 1662, preached one day at Hareby. Three sisters in the congregation discussed his merits and the youngest said 'she would think herself happy if she might have such a man, though she begged her bread with him.' This information was soon passed to Rev Horne, who married her. Presumably they had to then beg since he had no benefice income to provide for his new family although he did gain some Church of England jobs from 1673. The Millennium Dome near the church is a small gazebo with views from Hareby Hill.

East Kirkby is a village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated 7 miles (11 km) south-east from Horncastle, and on the A155 road. East Kirkby 13th century Grade II* listed Anglican parish church is dedicated to St Nicholas. The church tower and nave arcades are of Decorated style, and the chancel screen, Perpendicular. In the south aisle is a 14th-century slab to Sir Robert Sylkestone (d. 1347), founder of the chantry.A Wesleyan chapel was established in 1862. East Kirkby was the birthplace of Thomas Goodrich, or Goodricke, (1494–1554). Goodrich was Bishop of Ely (1533–54) and Lord High Chancellor of England from 1551.East Kirkby has a disused 1820 Grade II listed tower mill. The village's public house is the Red Lion on Fen Lane.The Prime Meridian passes just to the east of East Kirkby through the former RAF East Kirkby airfield, which has a meridian marker. The airfield was a Second World War Royal Air Force station, part of which now houses the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre.

The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre is an aviation museum in East Kirkby, Lincolnshire, England. It was opened to the public in 1988 by Lincolnshire farmers Fred and Harold Panton, as a memorial to their older brother, Christopher Whitton Panton, who was killed on operations during the Second World War.

Royal Air Force East Kirkby or more simply RAF East Kirkby is a former Royal Air Force station near the village of East Kirkby, south of Horncastle in Lincolnshire, just off the A155. The airfield is now home to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre air museum.
