Pavarotti Music Centre

The house where Svetozar Ćorović was born has been transformed into a writer's home museum. The museum is located in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Svetozar Ćorović is one of the most important Herzegovina novelists who often wrote of life in Herzegovina region and in Mostar, is located at Mostar's 178, Maršala Tita Street, close to the Muyaga Komadina Bridge (or Lucki Bridge). It was constructed in 1874 in a somewhat unusual Neo-Renaissance style. The building style was also inspired by the Dalmatian architecture.Aleksa Šantić, one of the country's greatest poets, also lived here during the last years of his life. The building houses a room dedicated to his memory with a library collection containing his precious manuscripts. The city honors Šantić by holding poetry reading evenings, the Šantićeve večeri poezije, an event much which has taken place every year for the past twenty three years.

Radobolja is a river in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is five kilometers long and its spring is located below the Mikuljača hill in Mostar's suburb of Ilići. Radobolja flows through Mostar and flows into the Neretva River near the Old Bridge. During the Ottoman rule water from Radobolja was used for irrigation and drinking, however today's Radobolja is polluted due to discharge of waste-water.

The Museum of the Old Bridge is a museum located in the Old Town Area of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The museum opened in 2006 to celebrate the second anniversary of the reconstruction of the Stari Most (transl. Old Bridge). The museum's premises are within the Tara Tower and they consist of three distinct sections.The first section, consisting of the Tara Tower itself, contains archaeological objects discovered during the 2002 reconstruction carried. Exhibits are accompanied by the informative charts explaining the principal historical events associated with the Old Bridge. Out the five floors of this section, the top one contains a gazebo with a panoramic view of Mostar. The second section contains pre-existing archaeological remains discovered underneath the tower. This includes the remains of two wooden bridges belonging to the period prior to the construction of stone bridge and the base of the Old Bridge. And finally, the third section called "Labyrinth" contains a photographic gallery dedicated to the Old Bridge; that is, to the damaged towers and to the phases of restoration. Audiovisual materials and multimedia charts recount the history of the bridge's construction.

The Herzegovina Museum (Bosnian: Muzej Hercegovine) is a museum in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina containing items associated with the history of the area.

The National Theatre Mostar (Bosnian: Narodno pozorište Mostar) is the largest public theatre in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where performances are held, as well as other arts events. It was officially founded on 28 November 1949 and the opening play was Matej Bora's Night at the Globoko (Odrpanci), directed by Safet Pašalić. It opened on 17 November 1951 as the first newly built theater building in Bosnia and Herzegovina after World War II, with a premiere of Hasanaginica directed by Sveto Milutinović.

Karađoz Bey Mosque (Bosnian: Karađoz-begova džamija, Turkish: Karagöz Mehmed Bey Camii) is a 16th-century Ottoman mosque in the city of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. With its big dome and high minaret, it is one of the largest mosques in the region.

Cultural Centre (Bosnian: Centar za kulturu) is a city-sponsored art institution in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the month of July, the Centre organizes the Mostar Summer Festival (Mostarski Ljetni Festival) that has been held annually for over twenty years. The festival includes various art events such as concerts, theatre performances, puppet-shows, art exhibitions, poetry readings, and book presentations. Franciscan Province of Herzegovina of the Ascension of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a province of the Catholic religious order of the Order of Friars Minor, commonly known as Franciscans. It was established in 1843 when it seceded from the Franciscan Province of Bosna Srebrena. Its headquarters are in Mostar. The Franciscans were present at the territory of Herzegovina since the 13th century. During the Ottoman rule, they established their exclusive care of the Catholics under the Ottoman held-territories, thus gaining a number of privileges, acting as a de facto an Ottoman institution. With the restoration of the Church hierarchy after the Austrian-Hungarian occupation in 1881, the Franciscans fiercely opposed the restoration, trying to preserve their privileges and control over the Herzegovinian parishes, a conflict which is not resolved till the present-day, known as the Herzegovina Affair. As of 2019, there are 194 friars who are members of the Franciscan Province of Herzegovina, of whom 116 have taken permanent vows and live in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and 109 serve as priests in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Church of St. Peter and Paul is a Roman Catholic church with a monastery in Mostar. It is located along the river Radobolja, at the foot of Hum. The church is run by the Franciscans.

Mostar Youth Theatre (locally known as Mostarski Teatar Mladih or MTM) is a city-sponsored community theatre located in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Herzegovina University (Croatian: Sveučilište Hercegovina, Latin: Universitas Studiorum Hercegoviniensis) was established in 2010 in Medjugorje by merging three independent higher education institutions into University.

The Heliodrom camp (Serbo-Croatian: Logor Heliodrom, Логор Хелиодром) or Heliodrom prison was a detention camp that operated between September 1992 and April 1994. It was run by the Military Police of the Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia to detain Bosniaks, Serbs, and other non-Croats and was located at a former military facility of the JNA in Rodoč, south of the town of Mostar.
