Croft, Lincolnshire

Havenhouse railway station is situated 3 miles (5 km) south-west of Skegness in Lincolnshire, England. The station was originally called 'Croft Bank'. There was formerly a Seacroft railway station between Havenhouse and Skegness, but it is now closed. The station is now owned by Network Rail and managed by East Midlands Railway who provide all rail services. In 2018/19 it was the least used station in Lincolnshire and in the East Midlands and the fifth least used station in Great Britain. The station is unstaffed and offers limited facilities other than two shelters, bicycle storage, timetables and modern 'Help Points'. The full range of tickets for travel are purchased from the guard on the train at no extra cost; there are no retail facilities at this station.

Wainfleet All Saints is an ancient port, market town and civil parish on the east coast of England, in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, on the A52 road 5 miles (8 km) south-west of Skegness and 14 miles (23 km) north-east of Boston. It stands on two small rivers, the Steeping and Limb (or Lymn), that form Wainfleet Haven. The town is close to the Lincolnshire Wolds. The village of Wainfleet St Mary is to the south. In 2011 the parish had a population of 1604.

Dobson's Mill is a tower windmill for grinding wheat and corn. It stands in the High Street in the town of Burgh le Marsh, near Skegness in Lincolnshire, England. The mill was, prior to damage by Storm Ciara on 9 February 2020, open to the public as a tourist attraction and is a Grade I listed building. The mill site also houses the Burgh-le-Marsh Heritage Centre. The windmill was built and fitted out by Sam Oxley, an Alford millwright, in the early 1800s for the Jessop family, who baked bread on the same site. It was completed by 1844. Dobson was the name of the last miller. The mill is built in five storeys of tarred brick and was fitted with five sails (also termed "sweeps"), unusual in that they turned clockwise, driving three sets of millstones (two pairs of grey stones and one pair of French) in an anti-clockwise direction. There is a blocked opening on the ground floor where a steam traction engine once powered an extra set of millstones. The mill was purchased by the local Council in the 1960s and refurbished, including the installation of a new cap and sails, in 2014. On 9 February 2020 the cap and sails were destroyed by winds from Storm Ciara. The 16-tonne sails landed on the adjacent Granary Heritage Displays, which were reopened in May 2023. It is planned to reinstate the sails, with the work hoped to be completed by 2026.

Thorpe St Peter is a village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England, about 1 mile (1.6 km) north-west from the town of Wainfleet. Thorpe is listed in the Domesday Book of 1086 as having 33 households, two mills and a church.The parish church, dedicated to Saint Peter is a Grade I listed building dating from 1200 with later additions and alterations, and restored in the 19th century. It is built of greenstone and limestone. The west tower dates from the mid-14th century, and there is an early 13th-century font.Thorpe Culvert railway station was opened here in 1873.

Burgh Bypass is a bypass of the town of Burgh Le Marsh near Skegness. It was passed in 2005 and construction began in September 2006 after a lengthy campaign from locals. The bypass is aiming to cut traffic dramatically by re-routing vehicles past the town and over the village of Orby coming out on Burgh Road, the main road to Skegness. The bypass was originally expected to be finished in Winter 2007/Spring 2008, on 26 July 2007 the roundabout on the bypass was opened and opening of the bypass took place on 13 October 2007. In early November half of the bypass was opened with limited access to Ingoldmells and Common Lane. The bypass fully opened to traffic on 30 November 2007.

Burgh-le-Marsh was a railway station on the East Lincolnshire Railway which served the town of Burgh le Marsh in Lincolnshire between 1848 and 1970. It originally opened as Burgh, but was renamed in 1923. Withdrawal of goods facilities took place in 1966, followed by passenger services in 1970. The line through the station is now closed.
