Arnold is a former census-designated place (CDP), which was located in Rice Lake, Saint Louis County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 2,960 at the 2010 census. The census-designated place of Arnold was located entirely within the former Rice Lake Township, adjacent to the north side of the city of Duluth. Rice Lake Township was incorporated as the city of Rice Lake on October 22, 2015, thus rendering the census-designated place of Arnold to no longer exist. The name "Arnold", as a place of residence, had been seldom used in the present day by the younger generations. Since about 1970, those who reside in this area had identified themselves as residents of Rice Lake or Duluth. The CDP name "Arnold" was used only for statistical purposes for the U.S. decennial census count of population.

Montessori School of Duluth (MSD) is a non-profit preschool and elementary school located in Duluth, Minnesota. It was founded in 1981 by Anne and Al Nephew and is the first private, independent, and non-denominational Montessori school in Duluth's history. It is located in the Hunter's Park residential neighborhood of Duluth, four blocks from Morley Heights Park. MSD enrolls children from 16 months to 6th Grade. As a Montessori school, MSD emphasizes child-directed work, uninterrupted work periods, Montessori materials, and multi-age classrooms.

Bridge L8515 is a historic bridge in the Oatmeal Hill neighborhood of Duluth, Minnesota, United States. Built in 1922, it carries Lewis Street over Tischer Creek. Structurally it is a reinforced concrete arch bridge with a veneer of local gabbro masonry. Bridge L8515 was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016 for its local significance in the theme of engineering. It was nominated for being a highly aesthetic example of the rustic bridges built in park-like settings in the first half of the 20th century.

It was the fourth edition conducted by the United States Golf Association (USGA). Kathy Cornelius won her only major championship in an 18-hole playoff over amateur Barbara McIntire by a score of 75 to 82.Northland was designed by noted course architect Donald Ross.

Ridgeview Country Club is a golf club located in Duluth, Minnesota, United States. It is a private club and closed to guests not accompanied by a member. The golf course was designed by William Watson and opened in 1921.

Lester Park also refers to a large park within the neighborhood. The Lester River and Amity Creek both flow through the neighborhood. Lester Park Golf Course and Lester Park Elementary School are also located in the neighborhood. Until 2016 Lakeside was a "dry neighborhood". No alcohol was sold in store or available for purchase and restaurants. There were no laws against residents consuming alcohol in their own home or at private events. The ban was ended by popular vote in 2016.
