It was built between 1814 and 1815, and consists of a two-story, two-bay, log section with a gable roof (c. 1814) attached to a two-story, two-bay, gable-roofed stone section (c. 1815). The building dates to the Federal period. It features a one-story, hip-roof front porch added in the early 1900s. Also on the property is a fieldstone spring house (c. 1815).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Zion Episcopal Church and Hedgesville Cemetery, Jacob Hull Mansion, and Bodine's Tavern. Included are notable examples of Queen Anne and Greek Revival-style architecture.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Hedgesville is a town in Berkeley County, West Virginia, United States, in the state's Eastern Panhandle region. The population was 318 at the 2010 census. The town sits on WV 9, and is roughly 13 miles east of Berkeley Springs. In addition to its legal definition, Hedgesville has come to be the common name for the large and sparsely inhabited area of West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle bordered by the Potomac River to the North and East, a southern border defined roughly by an imaginary line from the city of Martinsburg to the tip of Virginia, and Berkeley Springs to the West.

Hughes-Cunningham House, also known as "HuCuRu," is a historic home located near Hedgesville, Berkeley County, West Virginia. The log and stone house is in two sections. The main section was built in 1772 and is a two-story, three bay, gable roofed log building on a stone foundation. It measures 30 feet wide by 25 feet deep. A two bay, one story stone wing was added about 1784.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. The house was heavily damaged in a fatal fire on August 27, 2017.
