Asthall

Asthall Manor is a gabled Jacobean Cotswold manor house in Asthall, Oxfordshire. It was built in about 1620 and altered and enlarged in about 1916. The house is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.Early in the 20th century, the house was the childhood home of the Mitford sisters.

Asthall barrow is a high-status Anglo-Saxon burial mound from the seventh century AD. It is located in Asthall, Oxfordshire, and was excavated in 1923 and 1924.

Worsham is a hamlet on the River Windrush about 3.5 miles (5.6 km) west of Witney. 0.25 miles (400 m) east of Worsham on the north side of the Windrush are the remains of a small Roman house. In later history Worsham was the site of a water mill. The area also has two Cotswold stone quarries, both now disused.

Minster Lovell village has three parts: Old Minster, Little Minster and New Minster. Old Minster includes the parish church, Minster Lovell Hall and the Old Swan Inn and Minster Mill Hotel. A large part of New Minster is the Charterville Allotments, which were founded by the Chartists in 1846–50.

The school offers GCSEs, BTECs and OCR Nationals as programmes of study for pupils.In 2007, former headteacher Alan Klee was found guilty of bullying staff and misconduct while at Carterton Community College. Klee resigned from Carterton Community College in 2003.The school won the School Library Association Library Design Award in 2013.
