Buntingford railway station is a former station in Buntingford, Hertfordshire, England. It served as the terminus of a branch from the Hertford East Branch Line. The station was first opened in 1863 and closed to passengers in 1964.

The Benson Memorial Church, dedicated to St Richard of Chichester, is an English Roman Catholic church in the Hertfordshire town of Buntingford. Its name derives from the notable priest and author Robert Hugh Benson who lived locally at Hare Street House and helped fund construction of the church. Benson laid the foundation stone but died before the building was completed. The parish currently shares a parish priest with the Catholic churches in Puckeridge and Old Hall Green.

It lies next to the River Rib and is located on the historic Roman road, Ermine Street. As a result of its location, it grew mainly as a staging post with many coaching inns and has an 18th-century one-cell prison known as The Cage, by the ford at the end of Church Street. It has a population of 7879, as of the 2021 UK Census.

Buntingford Almshouses is a grade II* listed building on the High street of the Hertfordshire town of Buntingford. The building was erected in 1684 by the mathematician and astronomer Bishop Seth Ward who was born in the town. The architect was probably the celebrated scientist and architect, Robert Hooke.The building, located next to St Peter's church, is built of brick around three sides of a courtyard. The heritage listing describes the building as "A classical almshouses of 1684 of outstanding interest."Having previously been used as the town hospital, the building is now run by a charity to provide accommodation for elderly people in the town.

The Red House is a Queen Anne style house built around 1710 opposite the intersection of Norfolk Road and High Street in Buntingford, Hertfordshire, England. It was inhabited by artist and stage designer Claud Lovat Fraser, who designed the Buntingford war memorial and other aspects of the town. The building was used by estate agency Churchills, but currently (November 2013) appears unoccupied. It is a Grade II Listed Building.

Freman College is an upper school and sixth form with academy status in Buntingford, Hertfordshire, England. It was established as Ward Freman School in either 1970 or 1971 and became Freman College in 1999. It is named after the late Elizabeth Freman and the Freman family, who currently own the grounds of the school. Of the 788 students at the school in 2006, 198 were enrolled in the Sixth form.
