Fairview High School is a public high school located in Fairview Township, Pennsylvania, and it is part of the Fairview School District. The school serves as the only high school in Fairview Township, and has a yearly enrollment of approximately 550-600 students. The school's mascot is the tiger and their colors are red and black.

The Gudgeonville Covered Bridge was an 84-foot (25.6 m) long Multiple King-post Truss covered bridge over Elk Creek in Girard Township, Erie County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It was built in 1868 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 17, 1980. It was destroyed by arson on November 8, 2008. It was the oldest of the three remaining covered bridges in Erie County. The bridge structure's sufficiency rating on the Federal Highway Administration National Bridge Inventory was only 14.6 percent and its condition was deemed "basically intolerable requiring high priority of corrective action".

Carner led (or co-led) wire-to-wire and entered the final round with a five-stroke lead over 1963 champion Mary Mills. The course was designed by Donald Ross.

Kahkwa Country Club is a Donald Ross designed golf course located in Erie, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1893. It hosted the 1958 Women's Western Open. It also hosted the 2016 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur.

Lake City is a former railroad depot located on Rice Avenue in Lake City, Pennsylvania. The station opened in 1852, and a freight depot once stood across the tracks on Railroad Street.
