Bridge College is a specialist college in Manchester, England, for students aged 16–25 with disabilities, complex needs and autism. It is on the Openshaw campus of The Manchester College. It is run by the Together Trust charity and has a maximum of 95 students.

Space Studios Manchester (formerly known as The Space Project) is an English purpose built film and television studio situated in Gorton, Manchester, with 6 acoustically treated stages. Construction began in 2013 and it opened in October 2014 as a spin off to The Sharp Project. It is currently 360,000 square feet in size, which includes 85,000 square feet of studio space, with plans to expand the site further. Productions filmed at the facility include The A Word, Houdini and Doyle and stunt scenes used in Coronation Street. It is also now the home for the BBC's Dragons' Den.

Connell Co-op College is a Sixth Form College in the Beswick Hub development, Manchester. Run by the Co-op Academies Trust and formerly the Bright Futures Educational Trust (BFET) the college is located on the Etihad Campus training ground built by Manchester City Football Club as part of their redevelopment plans. The college is named after the Connell family, who were active in their local community in the 1880s and who created the church youth team which eventually morphed into the Premier League side. The college also serves the secondary purpose of educating members of their youth team, who will be allocated some places to complete their secondary education.In addition to teaching the customary range of A-Level courses, the college also offers BTECs in Business, Science and Sport Science.

The East Manchester Academy is a coeducational secondary school located in the Beswick area of Manchester, England.It was established as an academy in September 2010, and was originally sponsored by Laing O'Rourke, Lend Lease, Manchester City Council and The Manchester College. The school also had specialisms in The Built Environment and Performing Arts.However, due to poor performance the school became part of the Education and Leadership Trust in September 2016.Today, The East Manchester Academy offers GCSEs, BTECs and vocational qualifications as programmes of study for its pupils.

Hyde Road Stadium, in Manchester, England, often referred to as Belle Vue was the home of the Belle Vue Aces speedway team. The stadium's capacity was 40,000 and it was built in 1928 and used until demolished in 1987. It was claimed, incorrectly, to have been the first purpose-built speedway track in Britain.

Beswick is an area of east Manchester, England. Historically in Lancashire, it neighbours the district of Bradford to the east and the two are sometimes referred to as Bradford-with-Beswick. The River Medlock and the Ashton Canal both run through it.

The Church and Friary of St Francis, known locally as Gorton Monastery, is a Grade II* listed former Franciscan friary in Gorton, Manchester, England. It was designed by the noted Victorian architect Edward Welby Pugin amd built 1866–1872. Gorton Monastery is a noted example of Gothic Revival architecture. The building ceased to be used for Christian worship in 1989 and fell derelict for many years. After a restoration programme, it reopened as a secular events venue in 2007.

Bradford is a district of east Manchester, England, two miles north east of the city centre. The population at the 2011 census was 15,784. Historically in Lancashire, after the closure of its heavy industries Bradford was for many years an economically deprived area but has undergone regeneration with the building of the City of Manchester Stadium which hosted the 2002 Commonwealth Games and is now home to Manchester City F.C. Bradford is neighboured by Beswick to the south and the two areas are sometimes referred to as Bradford-with-Beswick. The River Medlock and the Ashton Canal run through Bradford.

Belle Vue Gaol (also known as Manchester City Gaol, Manchester Borough Gaol or Gorton Gaol) was a Victorian prison in Gorton, Manchester, England. It operated between 1850 and 1888. It was notorious at the time for abysmal prisoner living conditions. It was demolished in 1892.

The Church of St Benedict is a redundant church in the Ardwick district of Manchester, England. The church is dedicated to the saint Benedict of Nursia, was designed by J. S. Crowther for a Manchester merchant John Marsland Bennett, and built in 1880. It is generally considered to be Crowther's masterpiece and is a Grade II* listed building. Declared redundant in the early 2000s, the church is now home to the Manchester Climbing Centre.

Academy Stadium is a football stadium in Manchester, England, forming part of the Etihad Campus. Announced on 19 September 2011 as part of an 80-acre training facility to cater for around 400 youth players at a time, the campus was opened on 8 December 2014. The stadium, known simply as Academy Stadium, was inaugurated by students of Manchester Metropolitan University, who played the official first games on the pitch on 14 December 2014. The stadium is the home stadium of the Elite Development Squad and other senior academy teams, and also of Manchester City Women. Although not the biggest building of the facility the stadium still features numerous facilities more common to larger stadia, including a press room, board room, offices and retail space. Situated only 400 metres from the City of Manchester Stadium, the Academy Stadium is linked to the mother ground via a 190-metre bridge across the intersection of Ashton New Road and Alan Turing Way.In 2016, it was used as one of the two venues for that year's World Rugby Under 20 Championship in rugby union. In 2022, it hosted some group stage matches during the UEFA Women's Euro 2022.
