Gryfów Śląski

Gmina Gryfów Śląski is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Lwówek Śląski County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Its seat is the town of Gryfów Śląski, which lies approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) south-west of Lwówek Śląski, and 114 kilometres (71 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław. The gmina covers an area of 66.61 square kilometres (25.7 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 9,697.

The school in Biedrzychowice is an example of baroque architecture from five centuries past. It was assigned to the register of monuments of the National Institute of Heritage. Building was begun by order of the first owner, Konrad von Nostitz, in 1527, and was completed in 1580. It was renovated by Moritz Christian von Schweinitz in 1702 in the baroque architecture style. It stayed in the hands of von Pfeil family until the end of World War II. It was then used as an office of the Państwowe Gospodarstwo Rolne farm authority, and in 1960 was converted to an educational institute.

Olszyna [ɔlˈʂɨna] (German: Langenöls) is a town in Lubań County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Its name means "alder wood" in Polish. It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Olszyna. A settlement dating back to the Middle Ages, it received its town charter in 2005. It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of Lubań, and 116 kilometres (72 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław. As of 2019, the town has a population of 4,348.
