Addison County is a county located in the U.S. state of Vermont. As of the 2020 census, the population was 37,363. Its shire town (county seat) is the town of Middlebury.

Maple Landmark Woodcraft is a wooden products manufacturer located in Middlebury, Vermont. Founded in 1979 by Michael Rainville, the business is known for crafting American-made wooden toys, games, and gifts. Notable product lines include the NameTrains Wooden Railway System, Montgomery Schoolhouse, and Schoolhouse Naturals.

WOXM (90.1 FM) is a radio station licensed to Middlebury, Vermont. The station is owned by Vermont Public, and carries classical music through the VPR Classical network. WOXM signed on May 27, 2010. In April 2014, the WOXM call sign moved to 89.1 FM; the 90.1 FM license then changed its call letters to WVXM and went silent. By October 2015, VPR had discovered that the new WOXM was interfering with the Vermont Electric Power Company's emergency response radio system; on October 12, 2015, VPR Classical was moved back to the 90.1 facility. The station changed its call sign back to WOXM on June 28, 2019.

Brooksville Advent Church is a historic church at 1338 Dog Team Road in New Haven, Vermont. It was built in 1837 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. It was delisted in 2016.

The Dog Team Tavern was a restaurant located on Dog Team Road, off U.S. Route 7, roughly 4 mi (6.4 km) north of the town of Middlebury, Vermont in Addison County. It was located geographically in the Champlain Valley of the Green Mountains, the Vermont part of the Appalachian Mountain range. The restaurant burned down in early September 2006, destroying artifacts of the Grenfell Mission and Labrador handicrafts. The rustic restaurant was a local landmark known for its sizable portions (most notably the prime rib) and the "relish wheel," which typically contained corn relish, apple butter, horseradish cottage cheese, beets, and sauerkraut. Also, the restaurant's famous sticky buns were always served at the beginning of each meal. The restaurant was very popular among students from the nearby Middlebury College, who often flocked there with family during the college's fall family weekends. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002, and delisted in 2016.

The Morgan Horse Farm is a historic horse breeding facility at 74 Battell Drive (off Morgan Horse Farm Road) in Weybridge, Vermont. Since 1907, it has been an official breeding site for the Morgan horse, one of the first American-bred horse breeds, and Vermont's official state animal. The breeding program was established in Burlington in 1905, and moved to this site in 1907 by the United States Department of Agriculture, and is now run by the University of Vermont. The farm is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Middlebury station is an Amtrak train station in Middlebury, Vermont. The station opened on July 29, 2022 when the Ethan Allen Express was extended from Rutland to Burlington.

The Frog Hollow Stone Mill, or as it is now referred to, The Stone Mill, is a historic industrial building at 3 Mill Street in Middlebury, Vermont. Built in 1840, it is an important local reminder of the town's industrial past, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. It presently houses a restaurant, a public market, event space and four hotel rooms as part of an extensive renovation conducted in 2019.

Most of the village is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Middlebury Village Historic District.

The Pulp Mill Covered Bridge, also called the Paper Mill Covered Bridge, is a wooden covered bridge that crosses Otter Creek between Middlebury and Weybridge, Vermont on Seymour Street. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

The Addison-1 Representative District is a two-member state Representative district in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is one of the 108 one or two member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census. The Addison-1 District includes all of the Addison County town of Middlebury. As of the 2000 census, the state as a whole had a population of 608,827. As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The two member Addison-1 District had a population of 8,183 in that same census, 0.8% above the state average.
