Holmes Creek Covered Bridge

The McNeil Homestead is a historic ferry-related property off Wings Point Road in Charlotte, Vermont, USA. The complex includes a 19th-century house, former tavern, and barn, all built by members of the McNeil family, the first operators of the Charlotte-Essex Ferry, whose eastern terminus is just south of the property. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

West Charlotte (shown as Charlotte on federal topographic maps) is an unincorporated village and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Charlotte, Chittenden County, Vermont, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. The CDP is in southwestern Chittenden County, in the western part of the town of Charlotte. U.S. Route 7 runs along the east side of the CDP, leading north 12 miles (19 km) to Burlington and south 10 miles (16 km) to Vergennes. Ferry Road passes through the center of the village, leading west to the Charlotte-Essex Ferry, crossing Lake Champlain to Essex, New York.

The Tavern on Mutton Hill, also known locally (and incorrectly) as the 1812 Tavern, is a historic former public accommodation on Church Hill Road in Charlotte, Vermont. Built in 1813, it is a prominent local example of Federal period architecture, and the town's only documented 19th-century tavern house built out of brick. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Charlotte Congregational Church is a United Church of Christ church in the Town of Charlotte, Vermont, in the United States. Constructed between 1849 and 1851, the Greek Revival style church was dedicated on 8 July 1851. The church replaced the original predecessor wooden church constructed onsite in 1798 that had been damaged by fire in 1848, and subsequently torn down that year. The Church was listed as part of the Charlotte Center Historic District on the Vermont State Register of Historic Places on 9 April 1980 and part of the Charlotte Center Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places on 19 July 1984.

The Charlotte Center Historic District encompasses the historic 19th-century town center of Charlotte, Vermont. Settled c. 1790 and developed mainly in the mid-19th century, the village, stretched along Church Hill Road west of Hinesburg Road, retains a well-preserved 19th-century atmosphere of residential, civic, and commercial buildings. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Shelburne Railroad Station and Freight Shed are two exhibit buildings at Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vermont, United States. In 1890 Rutland Railroad Station President Dr. William Seward Webb commissioned the building of the railroad station near the center of Shelburne village to conveniently serve passengers on the Central Vermont and Rutland Railroads.

The Rail Car "Grand Isle" was a private railroad car operated as part of the Rutland Railroad and then the Central Vermont Railway from 1899 to 1959. It is now an exhibition building at Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vermont.

The steamboat Ticonderoga is one of two remaining side-paddle-wheel passenger steamers with a vertical beam engine of the type that provided freight and passenger service on America's bays, lakes and rivers from the early 19th to the mid-20th centuries. Commissioned by the Champlain Transportation Company, Ticonderoga was built in 1906 at the Shelburne Shipyard in Shelburne, Vermont on Lake Champlain. The other is the Eureka, built as the Ukiah for the Northwestern Pacific Railroad in California, renamed after a post-World War I reconstruction, and passed on to NWP owner Southern Pacific in 1942. The Eureka remained in service until SP's ferries were discontinued in 1958, and it was donated for museum display, where it remains to this day at Aquatic Park in San Francisco, California. Unlike the Ticonderoga however, the Eureka is still afloat. Ticonderoga measures 220 feet in length and 59 feet in beam, with a displacement of 892 tons. Her steam engine, handmade by the Fletcher Engine Company of Hoboken, New Jersey, was powered by two coal-fired boilers and could achieve a maximum speed of 17 miles per hour (27 km/h) (14.77 knots).
