The Plymouth Notch Cemetery in Plymouth Notch, Vermont, is noted as the burial place for 30th President of the United States Calvin Coolidge, as well as his wife Grace, children (Calvin Coolidge, Jr. 1908–1924, John Coolidge 1906–2000), and other members of the Coolidge family.Other notable burials include Howard E. Armstrong, who served as Secretary of State of Vermont from 1949 to 1965, and abolitionist Achsa W. Sprague.

Plymouth is a town in Windsor County, Vermont, United States. The population was 641 at the 2020 census. Calvin Coolidge, the 30th President of the United States, was born and raised in Plymouth and is buried there as well. The State of Vermont Division for Historic Preservation owns and maintains the Coolidge Homestead and the village of Plymouth Notch.

The Coolidge Homestead, also known as Calvin Coolidge Homestead District or President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site, was the childhood home of the 30th president of the United States, Calvin Coolidge and the place where he first took the presidential oath of office. Located in Plymouth Notch, Vermont, Coolidge lived there from age four in 1876 to 1887, when he departed for Black River Academy for education. He is buried in Plymouth Notch Cemetery not far from the home.

Union Christian Church is a historic church located in Plymouth Notch, Vermont. The church was constructed in 1840, and dedicated in 1842. President Calvin Coolidge grew up across the street from the church and attended it as a child. The church building is owned and maintained by the Calvin Coolidge Memorial Foundation and hosts numerous events. The church is adjacent to the Coolidge Homestead.

The Plymouth Historic District encompasses the village environment and surrounding landscape of Plymouth Notch, Vermont, the birthplace and historic homestead of United States President Calvin Coolidge. Coolidge State Park is a Vermont State Park located in Plymouth, Vermont, United States. The park is named after Calvin Coolidge, the 30th President of the United States, who was born and raised in Plymouth and is buried there as well. It is the primary recreational center for Calvin Coolidge State Forest, the largest state forest in Vermont. The park's facilities, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the 1930s, are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Activities in the park include camping, hiking, picnicking, mountain biking, stream fishing, wildlife watching and winter sports.

It is one of the 108 one or two member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census. The Windsor-Rutland-1 District includes all of the Windsor County towns of Ludlow and Plymouth, and the Rutland County town of Mount Holly. As of the 2000 census, the state as a whole had a population of 608,827. As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The one member Windsor-Rutland-1 District had a population of 4,245 in that same census, 4.58% above the state average.

Camp Plymouth State Park is a 295-acre state park on 96-acre Echo Lake in Ludlow, Vermont.Activities includes swimming, hiking, picnicking, fishing, boating, horseback riding, wildlife watching, winter sports and group camping.Facilities include a swimming beach, group and horse camping facilities, playground, picnic area with grills, cabin rentals, boat rentals and a car-top boat launch. There are three group picnic pavilions that are available for rent.

Shrewsbury Peak is a mountain located in Rutland County, Vermont, in the Calvin Coolidge State Forest. The mountain is part of the Coolidge Range. Shrewsbury is flanked to the northwest by Little Killington. The northeast slopes of Shrewsbury Peak drain into Madden Brook, thence into the Ottauquechee River, the Connecticut River, and into Long Island Sound in Connecticut. The southeast slopes of Shrewsbury Peak drain into Woodward Reservoir, thence into the Ottauquechee River. The south end of Shrewsbury Peak drains into Tinker Brook, thence into the headwaters of the Black River, another tributary of Connecticut River. The southwest slopes of Shrewsbury Peak drain into Gould Brook, thence into the Cold River, and Otter Creek, which drains into Lake Champlain, and thence into the Richelieu River in Québec, the Saint Lawrence River, and into the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. The west side of Shrewsbury Peak drains into Sargent Brook, thence into Gould Brook and the Cold River.The Appalachian Trail, a 2,170-mile (3,500-km) National Scenic Trail from Georgia to Maine, and Vermont's Long Trail run through the Coolidge Range, about 1.5 miles (2 km) northwest of Shrewsbury Peak.

Lake Rescue is located in Windsor County of south central Vermont, in the northeastern United States. Occupying 180 acres (73 ha) and reaching depths of 95 feet (29 m), it is the tenth-deepest and 23rd-largest lake in the state. Lake Rescue is located along VT Route 100 about three miles north of Ludlow and Okemo Mountain, and it is surrounded by the town of Ludlow. The lake is fed by the Black River and is the third of four lakes extending from Plymouth, Vermont through Ludlow, with Lake Amherst and Echo Lake to the north and Lake Pauline to the south. The northern section of the lake, connected to the main body via a shallow channel, is referred to as Round Pond.
