At the lot Galgenbihl (English: Gallows Hill), a former place of executions in Bregenz was the location where in earlier times people of Vorarlberg, Austria, convicted in the County of Bregenz, were executed. Synonyms in German to name such a place are e.g. Richtstätte, Richtplatz and Richtstatt, all words implying a place combined with judgement, in German: richten.

The Pfänderbahn is a cable car in Bregenz in the Austrian province of Vorarlberg. It connects the valley at 419 meters above sea level with the 1022 meter high mountain station near the Pfänderspitze.

Bregenz (German: [ˈbʁeːɡɛnts] ; Vorarlbergian: Breagaz [ˈb̥rea̯ɡ̊ats]) is the capital of Vorarlberg, the westernmost state of Austria. The city lies on the east and southeast shores of Lake Constance, the third-largest freshwater lake in Central Europe, between Switzerland in the west and Germany in the northwest. Bregenz Hafen railway station (German: Bahnhof Bregenz Hafen) is a railway station in the town of Bregenz, the capital of the district of Bregenz in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It is adjacent to the Bregenz ferry terminal, which offers connections to various points on Lake Constance. It is an intermediate stop on the standard gauge Vorarlberg line of Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB). The station is less than 750 metres (2,460 ft) east of Bregenz's primary railway station, at the other end of the promenade along Lake Constance. The station is served by ÖBB and Vorarlberg S-Bahn trains.

Lochau is a municipality in the westernmost Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It is located on Lake Constance, in the Bregenz district, near the border to Germany. About 50.3% of the municipality's area is forest. The Pfänder, the landmark mountain of the neighboring municipality of Bregenz, also lies within Lochau's boundaries. In the west, the Leiblach river forms the border to the German county (Landkreis) of Lindau.

The theatre was excavated by archaeologists specifically in 2013 and 2019 in the name of the Vorarlberg provincial museum (German: vorarlberg museum, former: Vorarlberger Landesmuseum).

The parish church of St. Gallus is a Roman Catholic church in the city of Bregenz in Vorarlberg, Austria. The church is situated in the southeast of the city center in the district of Bregens village on a terrace, which slopes down to the creek valley.

The vorarlberg museum (former name Vorarlberger Landesmuseum) in Bregenz is the state art and cultural museum of the Austrian federal state of Vorarlberg.It was founded in 1857, and has since been a centre for collection and preservation of the state's art and cultural material. The museum conducts research into this material and makes it available to the public. In terms of content, the museum's work focuses on Vorarlberg material, and at the same time considers this in a context which goes beyond the state's boundaries. The collection contains 150,000 artifacts from archaeology, history, history of art and folklore.The museum co-operates with other national, international and regional cultural institutions and aims at supporting science by cooperating with research facilities and making research findings visible.
