Luis Puig Palace (Valencian: Palau Velòdrom Lluís Puig, Spanish: Palacio Velódromo Luis Puig) is an arena in Valencia, Spain. It is primarily used for indoor sports and hosted the 2008 IAAF World Indoor Championships. The arena also hosts a 250 metres (270 yd) painted concrete cycling track which played host to the 1992 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. It has a capacity of 6,500 people.

The founding benefactors are Fundación Bancaja, Banco Santander, the Valencian Chamber of Commerce, the Valencian Business Confederation, and the University of Valencia. On 22 February 2024, at approximately 17:30 CET, a devastating fire broke out in a 14-storey luxury residential complex located in the Campanar district of València, Spain. The rapid spread of the fire, exacerbated by strong winds, building materials and a stack effect, led to the complete destruction of the complex's 138 apartments, trapping numerous residents inside. Nine bodies were recovered from the building following an inspection by forensic police, one person is missing, and 15 people were injured during the blaze, including several firefighters.

Nou Mestalla (Valencian pronunciation: [ˈnɔw mesˈtaʎa]) is a partially built 54,000-seat football stadium in Valencia, Spain, intended as a replacement for Valencia CF's current stadium, Estadio Mestalla. The basic concrete structure of the stadium was built between August 2007 and February 2009, but work was then halted for financial reasons. The design was revised in 2013 with a reduced capacity.The stadium architects are Reid Fenwick Asociados and ArupSport, and the cost is estimated between €250 million and €300 million. The design features a futuristic exterior, clad in aluminium and an interior of wood. It is being built on the site of a former factory in the neighbourhood of Benicalap.

The Tower of Paterna (Valencian: Torre de Paterna [ˈtore ðe paˈtɛɾna]) is a historical monument of the town of Paterna, in the province of Valencia, Spain. It is the most emblematic monument of this valencian town. The origin of its construction is unknown, but it is thought that it was constructed during the Arab age, as a defense system to protect the city's inhabitants. Today it is located in an urban park and is surrounded by earth houses excavated on the ground dating from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. In 1971 it was declared a historic monument of local character and was adequately restored from former deterioration.
