Sutrapur massacre (Bengali: সূত্রাপুর গণহত্যা) was the massacre of unarmed Bengali Hindu residents of Malakartola Lane of Sutrapur in Dhaka on 27 March 1971. The Pakistan army shot dead fourteen Bengali Hindus and one Muslim in the Loharpool bridge of Sutrapur.

Ruplal House (formerly known as Aratoon House) is a 19th-century mansion in Farashganj area in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was built on the northern bank of the Buriganga River, beside the Buckland Dam. The house was built in 1825 by an Armenian businessman Stephen Aratoon. It was later bought by two merchants, Ruplal Das and his brother Raghunath Das, in 1840. Later, an architect firm of Calcutta, Martin Company, re-constructed this building.

Call-Ready (Bengali: কল-রেডী) is a historic microphone and sound service company based in Bangladesh. The Call-Ready service became very popular between 1950s and 1970s in East Pakistan before the Independence of Bangladesh. This mic service has been used in almost every movements during that period.
