East Hebron, New Hampshire

Owls Head is an historic log cabin located on the shore of Newfound Lake in Hebron, New Hampshire. Built in 1927, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The Cockermouth River is a 9.5-mile-long (15.3 km) stream located in central New Hampshire in the United States. It is the longest tributary of Newfound Lake, part of the Pemigewasset River and ultimately Merrimack River watersheds. The river takes its name from the "Cockermouth Grant", an early name for a portion of the town of Hebron.The river begins in Province Road State Forest near the western boundary of Groton, New Hampshire, and proceeds southeast across the entire town of Groton. The river is closely paralleled by Sculptured Rocks Road, a very rough dirt road which gradually becomes more passable to automobiles as it proceeds downstream. The river passes through Sculptured Rocks Natural Area, a series of narrow, sharply carved rock formations that are a popular local swimming hole, then enters a broader valley as it passes the village center of Groton. Continuing east, the Cockermouth River enters the town of Hebron and flows into Newfound Lake near the lake's northern end.

Newfound Lake is located in Grafton County, New Hampshire, United States. It is situated in the Lakes Region of central New Hampshire, in the towns of Alexandria, Bridgewater, Bristol, and Hebron. Its area of 4,451 acres (18.0 km2) places it behind only Lake Winnipesaukee and Squam Lake among lakes located entirely within New Hampshire, and fourth in the state overall, when Umbagog Lake on the Maine border is included.

The Hebron Village Historic District encompasses the heart of the small town of Hebron, New Hampshire. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. Multiple buildings of the district were added to the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places in 2016.

Wellington State Park is a 220-acre (89 ha) public recreation area located on the southwest shore of Newfound Lake in Bristol, New Hampshire. The state park features the largest freshwater swimming beach in the New Hampshire state park system. Activities include swimming, fishing, non-motorized boating, hiking and picnicking. A 7-mile (11 km) trail system that begins in the park leads hikers to the top of Little and Big Sugarloaf mountains.The park owes its existence to the largesse of Elizabeth R. Wellington, who in 1931 turned over a tract of land known as the Wellington Reservation to the state for the handsome sum of $1. The Civilian Conservation Corps developed the park during the 1930s.

Tenney Mountain Ski Resort is a ski area in Plymouth, New Hampshire, located on Tenney Mountain. It closed in 2010 after operating for 45 years, but reopened for ski operations in March 2018. It closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020 and did not operate during the 2020–21 or 2021–22 seasons, while allowing backcountry access. It reopened in February 2023.

Tenney Mountain is a mountain near Plymouth, New Hampshire. The summit of the mountain, at 2,350 feet (720 m) above sea level, is located in the town of Rumney, approximately .4 miles (0.6 km) west of the top of the Tenney Mountain Ski and Snowboarding Area.

WPNH-FM (100.1 MHz) is a commercial radio station located in Plymouth, New Hampshire. The station identifies itself as "100.1 The Planet" and airs active rock peppered with alternative rock and, more recently, classic rock. The station primarily covers the western Lakes Region and southern White Mountains area, though it can be heard as far south as Manchester and as far west as Barre, Vermont. WPNH-FM originally transmitted from a hilltop in nearby Holderness until the late 1990s when the station's transmitter was moved to the top of Tenney Mountain in Plymouth by new owners. In January 2013, soon after another rock station in the area was purchased by new owners who immediately stopped broadcasting the show, WPNH-FM became the Central New Hampshire affiliate for The Free Beer and Hot Wings Show. It replaced the station's previous morning show, the locally produced "Daily Planet" hosted by then-music director Annie Biello and newswoman Amy Bates. On December 29, 2014, shortly after hiring a new music director, the station began incorporating classic rock into its programming while eliminating most of its classic alternative catalog. The station now primarily broadcasts Westwood One's Rock 2.0 music service, peppering in locally selected music on featured shows like Local Outbreak, Out Of The Box and Punch Out.WPNH-FM's sister stations are WFTN and WFTN-FM in Franklin, WSCY in Moultonborough, and WPNH in Plymouth. The station does not stream its signal over the internet.

The Fowler River is a 6.1-mile-long (9.8 km) river located in central New Hampshire in the United States. It is an inflow to Newfound Lake, part of the Pemigewasset and Merrimack River watersheds. Below Bog Brook, the Fowler River is subject to the New Hampshire Comprehensive Shoreland Protection Act. The primary tributary of the river is Clark Brook, which rises south of Mount Cardigan in the town of Alexandria and drops over Welton Falls. Chesley Brook joins from the north, at which point the stream valley widens and begins to support small agricultural operations. The brook's name changes to "Fowler River" when Brock Brook joins from the right at the first crossing of Fowler River Road. The river flows southeast to a junction with Bog Brook, where it turns north and flows one mile to Newfound Lake.

Bridgewater is a town in Grafton County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 1,160 at the 2020 census.

Groton Wind Power Project a 48-megawatt wind farm, also known as Groton Wind Farm was constructed in 2012 in Groton, New Hampshire in the northeast United States. Owned by Iberdrola Renovables, it is the third major wind-power installation in the state of New Hampshire. Power is being sold to NSTAR under a power purchase agreement, and will go to the Boston area.Located on Tenney Mountain and Fletcher Mountain in Groton, in Grafton County, it has 24 Gamesa G87, 2.0 MW turbines wind turbines. Delivery of turbine components began on June 25, 2012, and continued through August.
