Wheatland is a town in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 3,391 at the 2020 census. The census-designated place of Powers Lake is located partially in the town. The unincorporated communities of Lily Lake, New Munster, and Slades Corners are also located in the town. Settlement in the town is centered along 328th Avenue (Kenosha County Highway W) north of 60th Street (Kenosha County Highway K). The former Wisconsin Central Railway Chicago-Twin Cities main line (now the Canadian National Railway) also runs through the town; a passenger and freight station used was located here well into the 20th century.

New Munster is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in the town of Wheatland, in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, United States. The ZIP Code is 53152. It was named a CDP prior to the 2020 census, which showed a population of 286.

The population was 2,411 at the 2010 census, when the community was still an independent village. On February 14, 2017, the village merged with the town of Salem to create the village of Salem Lakes.

Wilmot Union High School is a public secondary school located in Wilmot, Wisconsin, a community in the village of Salem Lakes in Kenosha County. Founded in the 1870s, the high school serves students grades 9 to 12 in the communities of Wilmot, Trevor, Randall, Silver Lake, Twin Lakes, and portions of Salem and Wheatland. Both the school and the community are named after the Wilmot Proviso, by David Wilmot. The school is the sole member of the Wilmot Union High School District, and is fed by several elementary districts, including Randall School District, Twin Lakes School District, Silver Lake School District, Salem School District, Wheatland School District, and the Trevor-Wilmot Consolidated School District.

Wilmot (also Gilead) is a residential and business community in the village of Salem Lakes in southwestern Kenosha County, Wisconsin, United States. As of the 2010 census, prior to the incorporation into Salem Lakes, Wilmot was a census-designated place, with a population of 442. Since incorporation, Wilmot no longer has its own designated area for population statistics. Gander Mountain, a sports/outdoors superstore, was founded in Wilmot, and was named for nearby Gander Mountain in neighboring Illinois.Wilmot Union High School, Kenosha County Fair grounds, the Wilmot Raceway, and the Wilmot Mountain Ski Resort are located in Wilmot.

Twin Lakes is a village in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, United States, along the Illinois-Wisconsin border east of U.S. Highway 12, incorporated in 1937. With nearly 1000 acres of surface water, the twin lakes of Mary and Elizabeth have drawn vacationers to numerous resorts as well as ice harvesters in the days of icebox refrigeration. Today, many houses there are used for recreation, and the lakes remain a popular destination. Twin Lakes is home to about 6,041 permanent residents and a third more occasional ones.

Wilmot Mountain is a ski area in Kenosha County, Wisconsin. It is located in the community of Wilmot and lies in both the Town of Randall and the village of Salem Lakes, just north of the Illinois border. Located in the southern region of Wisconsin's Kettle Moraine, Wilmot Mountain is the result of glaciation. The self-proclaimed "Matterhorn of the Midwest" was founded by Walter Stopa in 1938 after a thorough research of the area's topography. It has a vertical drop of about 200 feet (60 m). It is also one of the few hills where the mountain is wide open, with few trees or barriers to crossing the hill. A skier can transverse several runs while skiing downhill. Night skiing is available on the entire hill. Wilmot Mountain is located 40 miles south-southwest of Milwaukee and 55 miles (90 km) north of Chicago. The Stopa Family were the owners and operators from February 1938 to January 2016. Vail Resorts purchased the resort in early 2016 and completed about $13 million in renovations in the same year.

Camp Lake is a neighborhood and former census-designated place in the village of Salem Lakes, Kenosha County, Wisconsin, United States. The population of Camp Lake was 3,665 at the 2010 census. Upon incorporation of the village of Salem Lakes in 2017, the census statistical boundaries for the neighborhood ceased to exist.
