St. Mary's Episcopal Church is an Episcopal parish in Phoenix, Arizona, in the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona. The parish church is located at 39th Avenue and Maryland between the historic Maryvale and Alhambra districts.

Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark is a college baseball stadium on the campus of Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. It hosts the Grand Canyon Antelopes of the Western Athletic Conference. The field is named for Dr. Dave Brazell, considered to be "the founder and developer of Canyon baseball." As the coach of the Lopes for 28 seasons, Brazell put together an impressive record of 728-385-8. The playing surface is composed complete of natural grass, save for infield foul territory where AstroTurf was installed in 2018. An inning-by-inning digital scoreboard is visible in left-center field.

The Grand Canyon University Stadium is a collegiate soccer venue located on the campus of Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. The soccer-specific stadium has a capacity of 6,000 and includes a full-sized (120 x 80 yard) soccer field. The field is located on the west end of the school's campus, sitting directly in front of Antelope Gymnasium, the university's secondary indoor athletic facility, and is in close proximity to Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark, home of the GCU baseball program. The facility debuted on August 19, 2016 when the stadium hosted 6,402 fans for a Grand Canyon Antelopes men's soccer game against the UCF Knights. The debut crowd featured the most fans to watch a collegiate soccer game in the state of Arizona. GCU Stadium hosts the school's men's and women's soccer teams.

Grand Canyon University (GCU) is a private for-profit Christian university in Phoenix, Arizona. Based on student enrollment, Grand Canyon University was the largest Christian university in the world in 2018, with 20,000 attending students on campus and 70,000 online.Grand Canyon was established by the Arizona Southern Baptist Convention on August 1, 1949, in Prescott, Arizona, as Grand Canyon College. In 1999–2000, the university ended its affiliation with the Southern Baptist Convention. Suffering financial and other difficulties in the early part of the 21st century, the school's trustees authorized its sale in January 2004 to California-based Significant Education, LLC, making it the first for-profit Christian college in the United States. Following that purchase, the university became the first and only for-profit to participate in NCAA Division I athletics. In 2018 the university received approval to return to non-profit status from its regional accreditor as well as the IRS and the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education. However, the U.S. Department of Education rejected the university's request to reclassify it as a non-profit and continues to classify the university as for-profit. The university operations partner directly alongside the for-profit publicly traded online program management corporation, Grand Canyon Education, Inc. (formerly Significant Education) that bundles services for the university to operate. The university president, Brian Mueller, also serves as the CEO of Grand Canyon Education.The university offers various programs through its nine colleges including doctoral studies, business, education, fine arts and production, humanities and social sciences, nursing and health care professions, science, theology, and engineering and technology.

Alhambra High School is a high school that forms part of the Phoenix Union High School District in Phoenix, Arizona. The campus is located at 3839 West Camelback Road, northwest of downtown Phoenix, Arizona, United States. The school predominantly serves students from partner elementary districts Alhambra, Isaac and Phoenix Elementary, although students from across the district come to Alhambra for its Phoenix Union Magnet Program—Medical and Health Studies.

The arena is the home of Grand Canyon University Lopes men's and women's basketball teams, men's and women's volleyball teams and other university events.

Alhambra Elementary School District provides education for more than 14,000 students in the Phoenix and Glendale areas of Arizona. Alhambra has 15 schools. These schools educate students from kindergarten to eighth grade. The district feeds into Phoenix Union High School District. The Alhambra Governing Board consists of President Adam Lopez Falk, Clerk Mari Alvarado, and members Cathleen O'Neil Franz, Robert Zamora, and Ray Martinez. Alhambra Elementary School District's superintendent is Mr. Mark Yslas.

Apollo High School is a high school located in Glendale, Arizona. It is part of the Glendale Union High School District (GUHSD). It enrolls approximately 2,200 students in grades 9-12. The Apollo High School motto has changed over recent years from "Pride, Class and Dignity" to the current "Choose Excellence". The nickname is the Hawks, and the school colors are navy blue, gold, and white.

The Beet Sugar Factory was built between 1903 and 1906 to produce the sugar beets being grown in the Glendale area around the time. The area's soil was considered prime for agriculture and federal reports stated that sugar beets would be a good crop to grow in the area. The building closed in 1986, and has not re-opened since despite attempts.

Bourgade Catholic High School is a diocesan, co-educational Roman Catholic high school in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix. It is a 27-acre campus located at 4602 N. 31st Avenue, just west of Interstate 17, and several miles from downtown Phoenix.
