Nagoya Lucent Tower is a 180-metre, 40-story skyscraper located Nishi-ku, Nagoya, Aichi, Japan. As of 2010, it was Japan's 49th tallest structure. It is one of the tallest buildings in Nagoya.

Nishi-ku (Japanese: 西区, Hepburn: Nishi-ku, lit. "western ward") is one of the 16 wards in the city of Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 October 2019, the ward has an estimated population of 150,480 and a population density of 8,393 persons per km². The total area is 17.93 km².

The JR Central Towers are in Nakamura-ku in the city of Nagoya, central Japan. It is located right above Nagoya Station and serves as the headquarters of the Central Japan Railway Company. Built in 2000, it is the second-tallest building in Nagoya, and eighth-tallest overall in Japan as of 2015. It is one of the world's largest train station complex by floor area. The office tower is slightly taller than the hotel tower. Takashimaya and the Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel are in the towers.

Nagoya Station (名古屋駅, Nagoya-eki) is a major railway station in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, Japan. It is Japan's, and one of the world's, largest train stations by floor area (410,000 m2), and houses the headquarters of the Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central). Much of this space is located in the JR Central Towers atop the station, as well as in underground concourses. The current station complex was completed on December 20, 1999. The station and the area around it is officially called Meieki (名駅) in the Japanese addressing system. The station is adjacent to Meitetsu Nagoya Station, the terminal of Meitetsu, and Kintetsu Nagoya Station, the terminal of the Kintetsu Nagoya Line. The twin-towered station rises over 50 storeys, and is the tallest railway-station building in the world.

Midland Square (ミッドランド スクエア), officially called Toyota-Mainichi Building (豊田・毎日ビルディング), is a skyscraper located in the Meieki district of Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, Aichi, Japan. It opened in early 2007. It is the tallest building in Nagoya and the fifth tallest building in Japan as of 2015. At 247 m (810 feet), it is slightly taller than the nearby JR Central Towers. Midland Square houses offices of many companies including Toyota Motor Corporation, Towa Real Estate and Mainichi Shimbun. It features a shopping center with 60 name-brand stores, two automobile showrooms and a cinema. It also holds the record for the highest open-air observation deck in Japan. Also of note are the unusual double-floored elevators, which take only 40 seconds to rise to the top. The name of the building derives from the Chūbu region (which means "central region") of which Nagoya is the capital.

Meitetsu Nagoya Station (名鉄名古屋駅, Meitetsu Nagoya eki) is the principal station of the Nagoya Railroad (Meitetsu) system in Nagoya, Japan. Most trains of Meitetsu's major lines operate through this station. The station is also a gateway to the Chūbu Centrair International Airport, which is connected with the station by the Rapid Express service started on January 29, 2005. This station is built under the Meitetsu Department Store, therefore the station area is very narrow for the large number of passengers, but it is technically difficult to enlarge the station due to the limited and complicated underground area. Therefore, at this station, passengers' waiting spots are separated by destination. Passengers are required to wait at their spot to go.The station is adjacent to JR Central's Nagoya Station, the city's central station, and Kintetsu Nagoya Station, the terminal of the Kintetsu Nagoya Line.

Nagoya Mosque (Japanese: 名古屋モスク; Romaji: Nagoya Mosuku) is a mosque in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. In 1980s, Muslims around the area started to collect donations for construction. Eventually, the mosque was built in 1998. In 2002, they were recognized as a religious corporation in the name of Islamic Center of Nagoya, and since then, they started running the mosque. The organization also set up a mosque called Gifu Masjid in Gifu Prefecture in 2008. The organization distributes issuances and offers introductory booklets on Islam.Prior to the construction of this mosque, there was a mosque called Nagoya Muslim Mosque in this area, which was burned down during World War II.

Kokusai Center Station (国際センター駅, Kokusai Sentaa-eki) is a train station in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.The station is linked to Nagoya International Center, after which the station is named. A long underground passage links this station directly to Nagoya Station; that is, the network of underground shopping malls and passages extends to this station and includes it. It opened on 10 September 1989 (1989-09-10).
