Dongwuyuan (Beijing Zoo) Station (simplified Chinese: 动物园站; traditional Chinese: 動物園站; pinyin: Dòngwùyuán Zhàn) is a station on the Line 4, of the Beijing Subway, located at the Beijing Zoo in Xicheng District, Beijing. The station on average has 100,000 entrances and exits per day.

Chegongzhuangxi (simplified Chinese: 车公庄西站; traditional Chinese: 車公莊西站; pinyin: Chēgōngzhuāng Xī Zhàn) is a station on Line 6 of the Beijing Subway. This station opened on December 30, 2012.

The Beijing Exhibition Center (simplified Chinese: 北京展览馆; traditional Chinese: 北京展覽館; pinyin: Běijīng Zhǎnlǎnguǎn) was established in 1954 as a comprehensive exhibition venue in Beijing, China. Built in the Sino-Soviet architectural style that was popular in the 1950s, the Beijing Exhibition Center contains three large exhibition halls as well as museums.It has a theater hall (北京展览馆剧场) with 1,000 seats, playing a wide range of shows including Chinese plays, Western and Chinese operas and ballets, musicals and rock concerts. It also hosts the Moscow Restaurant, one of the first Western restaurants in China.

Moscow Restaurant (Chinese: 莫斯科餐厅; pinyin: Mòsīkē Cāntīng) is a Russian restaurant located in Xicheng District, Beijing. Founded in 1954 as part of the former Soviet Exhibition Center, the restaurant was intended to foster friendship and cultural understanding between the People's Republic of China and the former Soviet Union. As one of the first Western restaurants in the nation's capital, Moscow Restaurant holds a nostalgic position in Beijing. Still operating to this day, the restaurant is affectionately nicknamed "Old Moscow" (Chinese: 老莫, Pinyin: lǎo mò).

Zhalan Cemetery (Chinese: 滕公栅栏; pinyin: ténggōng zhàlan) is a former Jesuit burial ground in Beijing. It was initially established in the late Ming dynasty for the burial of Matteo Ricci. The current setup is a restoration using original carved tombstones, following multiple episodes of desecration and turmoil during the Boxer Rebellion, the 1950s and the Cultural Revolution.

Beijing Zoo is a zoological park in Xizhimen, Xicheng District, Beijing. Founded in 1906 during the late Qing dynasty, it is the oldest zoo in China and oldest public park in northern China. The zoo is also a center of zoological research that studies and breeds rare animals from various continents. The zoo occupies an area of 89 hectares (220 acres), including 5.6 hectares (14 acres) of lakes and ponds in Xicheng District. It has one of the largest animal collections in the country. In 2015, the zoo and its aquarium had over 450 species of land animals and over 500 species of marine animals; in all, it is home to 14,500 animals.More than five million people visit the zoo each year. Like many of Beijing's parks, the zoo's grounds resemble classical Chinese gardens, with flower beds amidst natural scenery, including dense groves of trees, stretches of meadows, small streams and rivers, lotus pools, and hills dotted with pavilions and historical buildings.The Beijing Zoo is well known for its collection of rare animals endemic to China including the giant pandas, which are zoo's most popular animals, the red panda (Ailurus fulgens), native to the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China, the golden snub-nosed monkey, South China tiger, white-lipped deer, Pere David's deer, crested ibis, Chinese alligator, and Chinese giant salamander. Other endangered or threatened species housed there include a Siberian tiger, yak, Przewalski's horse, snow leopard, Tibetan gazelle, and kiang. The zoo also has a broad collection of megafauna such as addax, Asian black bears, Asian and African elephants, bats, beluga whales, chimpanzees, clouded leopards, flamingos, gorillas, hippopotamuses, jaguars, kangaroos, lemurs, lions, muntjac, otters, penguins, polar bears, rhinoceroses, sea turtles, tapirs, giraffes and zebras, as well as 13 of the world's 15 species of cranes.

The Beijing Planetarium (simplified Chinese: 北京天文馆; traditional Chinese: 北京天文館) is a planetarium in Xicheng District, Beijing, China.The planetarium comprises two main buildings, Building A & B. Building A, which was built in 1957, contains the Celestial Theater, an Eastern Exhibition Hall and a Western Exhibition Hall. It was the first large-scale planetarium in China, and at one time the only planetarium in Asia. Building B, which began operations in 2004, contains a digital space theater, 3D and 4D theaters, several exhibition halls and two observatories.

Foreign Languages Press is a publishing house located in China. Based in Beijing, it was founded in 1952 and currently forms part of the China International Publishing Group, which is owned and controlled by the Publicity Department of the Chinese Communist Party. The press publishes books on a wide range of topics in eighteen languages spoken primarily outside China. Much of its output is aimed at the international community – its 1960s editions of works by Marx and Lenin are still widely circulated – but it also publishes some material aimed at foreign language students within China. Beginning in the 1950s many works of classical and modern Chinese literature were translated into English by translators such as Gladys Yang, Yang Xianyi and Sidney Shapiro.As of 2008, the house had published over 30,000 titles in a total of 43 languages.

The Paleozoological Museum of China (PMC; Chinese: 中国古动物馆) is a museum in Beijing, China. The same building also houses the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The museum contains exhibition halls with specimens aimed at the public, while the rest of the building is used for research purposes.

Chegongzhuang Station (simplified Chinese: 车公庄站; traditional Chinese: 車公莊站; pinyin: Chēgōngzhuāng Zhàn) is an interchange station on Line 2 and Line 6 of the Beijing Subway. The station is on intersection of Chegongzhuang street and the West 2nd Ring Road. It provides direct access to Guanyuan Park.

Xizhimen station (simplified Chinese: 西直门站; traditional Chinese: 西直門站; pinyin: Xīzhímén zhàn) is an interchange station for Line 2, Line 4 and Line 13 of the Beijing Subway. Just outside this station is Beijing North railway station. Line 2 opened on September 20, 1984; Line 13 opened on January 28, 2003; and Line 4 opened on September 28, 2009. With the addition of Line 13 and Line 4, Xizhi Men Station became the second 3-way transfer station (the first was Dongzhimen Station, being the intersection of Line 2, Line 13, and Airport Express). With a peak daily ridership of over 770,000 passengers, Xizhi Men Station is also one of the most crowded stations of the whole Beijing Subway system. It sees over 170,000 transfers per day between the 3 lines serving the station.

Erligou station (simplified Chinese: 二里沟站; traditional Chinese: 二里溝站; pinyin: Èrlǐgōu Zhàn) is a station on Line 6 and Line 16 of the Beijing Subway. The station opened on 18 March 2023.
