Kvåsefjorden is an approximately 8-kilometre (5.0 mi) long fjord in Agder county, Norway. It forms part of the border between the municipalities of Lillesand and Kristiansand. The district of Randesund lies on the west side of the fjord in Kristiansand.The fjord empties into the Skagerrak at Meholmen near Ulvøysund, which is considered to be the western starting point of the Blindleia strait. Blindleia is the inner shipping route along the coast of Lillesand. The smaller Isefjærfjorden is a branch off the main Kvåsefjorden. Kvåsefjorden can sometimes be harsh and difficult to cross with small boats, because it is wide open to the Skagerrak and there is no archipelago to protect it unlike in the nearby Blindleia.

Ribe is a village in Lillesand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located on the east side of the Kvåsefjorden, about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) north of the village of Ulvøysund and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) south of the village of Høvåg. The Skottevik area lies about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) east of Ribe.

Sørlandets Travpark is a harness racing track located in Kristiansand, Norway. The course is 1,000 meters (3,300 ft). Owned by Norwegian Trotting Association, its tote betting is handled by Norsk Rikstoto. The venue opened on 16 July 1988.

Sørlandshallen is a sports hall in Kristiansand, Norway. The hall was put into use in 1992. It is located in Sørlandsparken by the E18, east of the city center near Kristiansand Dyrepark, Sørlandets Travpark and Sørlandssenteret. The hall is used by local football teams for indoor football, including IK Start (which has training facilities there during the winter months). The hall is also sometimes used for indoor gocart. Occasionally also occur organized trade fairs, congresses, concerts, banquets and the like. Sørlandshallen has 7500 m² of exhibition space.

The Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park (Norwegian: Kristiansand Dyrepark) is a zoological garden and amusement park situated in of Kristiansand, Norway. It is Norway's most frequently visited attraction, covering an area of 60 hectares (150 acres). Established in 1966, it has been owned by Braganza since 2004. The Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park has Norway's largest collection of animals. It consists of over a hundred species of animals from around the world, that move freely on a relatively large area. Amusement attractions include Cardamom Town (Norwegian: Kardemomme by), which is made to look like the town in the book by Thorbjørn Egner, and Captain Sabertooth and pirate village Abra Havn (Abra Harbor), which is taken from a theatre act by the singer and actor Terje Formoe.

Ulvøysund is a village and an outport in the municipality of Lillesand in Agder county, Norway. The village lies on the east side of the Kvåsefjorden on the island of Ulvøya. Just northeast of Ulvøysund is the entrance to the Blindleia inland waterway which leads towards the town of Lillesand. The village is connected to the mainland by road. The nearby village of Ribe lies about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) straight north of Ulvøysund. The village was historically used as an outport along the Skaggerak coast for the large ships that couldn't navigate inland through the archipelago to the towns on the mainland.

Cardamom Town (Norwegian: Kardemomme by) is a theme park located within the Kristiansand Zoo in Kristiansand, Norway, based on the popular Norwegian children's book When the Robbers Came to Cardamom Town by Norwegian children’s book author Thorbjørn Egner.The theme park, which opened in 1991, was made to look exactly like it looks in the original illustrations in the book. Thorbjørn Egner got to see the theme park while it was under construction, but did not live long enough to see it completed. The theme park comprises 33 houses, eight of which are rental properties. During the summer actors in the park portray the residents of the fictional town. In addition the visitors of the theme park can see the different main characters in the book: Commissioner Bastian and Aunt Sophie, as well as the three robbers, Kasper, Jesper and Jonathan. The theme park has a working tram made to look like the one in the book and is operated by an actor who portrays the character of tram conductor Syversen. The theme park also has a functioning post office, which uses the postal code "4609 Cardamom Town".

Sørlandssenteret is among the largest shopping centres in Norway and Northern Europe. It lies 12 km east of Kristiansand, close to the popular Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park. Sørlandssenteret was built in 1987. The mall expanded in 1995 and 2013. In 2005 the mall had over 3.6 million visitors. From October 2013, after extensive development, the center now has a surface area of 90,900 m², there are 195 shops and 3,000 parking spaces. It is the Nordic region's fourth largest shopping center.

Skottevik is a village in Lillesand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located on the Skaggerak coast, about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) east of the village of Ribe and about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) northeast of the village of Ulvøysund. The outport of Gamle Hellesund lies about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) to the northeast of Skottevik in the nearby coastal archipelago.

Høvåg is a village in Lillesand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) southwest of the town of Lillesand and about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) northeast of the city of Kristiansand. The village lies on the northern shore of the Kjerkekilen, a strait leading from the Blindleia to the Isefjorden. The village is the site of Høvåg Church and from 1865 until 1962, it was the administrative centre of the old municipality of Høvåg. The 0.26-square-kilometre (64-acre) village has a population (2016) of 280 which gives the village a population density of 1,077 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,790/sq mi).

Høvåg (historically: Høvaag) is a former municipality in the old Aust-Agder county in Norway. The 77 km2 (30 sq mi) municipality existed from 1865 until its dissolution in 1962. It was located in the southern part of the present-day municipality of Lillesand which is now in Agder county. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Høvåg where the Høvåg Church is located. Old coastal settlements in Høvåg include Ulvøysund, Gamle Hellesund, Skottevik, Kjøbmannsvig and Åkerøyhamn. The village of Høvåg is located midway between the towns of Lillesand and Kristiansand.

Høvåg Church (Norwegian: Høvåg kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Lillesand Municipality in Agder county, Norway. It is located in the village of Høvåg. It is the church for the Høvåg parish which is part of the Vest-Nedenes prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Agder og Telemark. The white, stone church was built in a cruciform design around the year 1100 using plans drawn up by an unknown architect. The church seats about 315 people.
