Kentchurch Court is a Grade I listed stately home 1,200 yards (1,000 m) east from the village of Kentchurch in Herefordshire, England.

Upper Dyffryn House, Grosmont, Monmouthshire is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century. It was built by John Gainsford, Sheriff of Monmouthshire in 1604. The farmhouse is Grade II* listed as are the dairy and kitchen which stand a little way from the main building.

The Barn at Lower Tresenny, Grosmont, Monmouthshire is an "extremely rare" example of a cruck-framed barn. It dates from the mid 16th century. The barn is a Grade II* listed building.

Its exceptional size reflects the importance and standing of the borough of Grosmont at the time of the church's construction and has led it to be called a "miniature cathedral". Largely unaltered from the time of its building, by the 19th century the church had seriously decayed and its tower was close to collapse. It was rescued from dereliction in a restoration undertaken by John Pollard Seddon and financed by John Etherington Welch Rolls. An active parish church, it is a Grade I listed building.

The River Dore (Welsh: Afon Aur lit: 'the river of gold') is a tributary of the River Monnow in Herefordshire, England. It rises on Cusop Hill, in the foothills of the Black Mountains, close to the border between England and Wales. It flows for 12 miles (19 km) through the villages of Dorstone, Peterchurch, Vowchurch, Abbey Dore and Pontrilas, before reaching the Monnow near Llangua. The Monnow itself is a tributary which flows into the River Wye at Monmouth. The name Dore probably derives from the Welsh word dŵr, meaning "water". The word was later interpreted by the Norman French as "d'or", meaning "golden", and the river valley, through this misunderstanding, then became known in English as "Golden Valley".The river is noted for its fishing, including trout and grayling. In 2006, the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust initiated a programme to clear the river of invasive mink, and repopulate it with water voles.As of 2022, there is a legal challenge against the building of an intensive poultry farm livestock unit which would contribute to the pollution to the river and also of the Wye, of which it is a tributary.

Lower Dyffryn House, Grosmont, Monmouthshire is a farmhouse dating from the 16th century. Owned by a Sheriff of Monmouthshire in the early 1600s, it was rebuilt by the Cecil family in the mid 17th century as a substantial mansion to the typical Elizabethan e-plan. Its fortunes declined in the 19th century by which point it had been reduced to a farmhouse and much of its external and internal fittings were removed or replaced. The farmhouse is Grade II* listed and a number of the ancillary buildings have their own Grade II listings. The gardens, which are contemporaneous with the house, are included on the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales.
