The War College Lieutenant General Luis María Campos (Spanish: Escuela Superior de Guerra Teniente General Luis María Campos) is the university and staff college of the Armed Forces of the Argentine Republic. It was founded by Lt Gen Luis María Campos and opened in 1900. The school offers undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate courses. The subjects taught are: Staff officer courses, logistics, strategic intelligence, military history, geopolitics, science subjects, international relations, and education studies. Since 1949 over 3,000 officers have studied there. The school has also taught senior officers of twenty foreign countries.

Ministro Carranza is a station on Line D of the Buenos Aires Underground. It connects with Ministro Carranza station on the Mitre Line commuter rail service. The station was opened on 29 December 1987 as the western terminus of the extension of Line D from Palermo. On 31 May 1997, the line was extended to José Hernández.

It is currently used mostly for polo, pato and field hockey matches.The stadium, opened in 1928, holds up to 30,000 people and is located in the Palermo neighbourhood, on Del Libertador Avenue, close to Hipódromo Argentino.This is a unique polo field, situated ten minutes away from downtown Buenos Aires, and is considered the most modern and comfortable for spectators in the sport. The Campo Argentino, is the home to the Campeonato Argentino Abierto de Polo, the most important polo event in the world, held there since 1928. It is organized by the Asociación Argentina de Polo.

Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club is a founding member of the Argentine Tennis Association, established 2 September 1921, along with Quilmes, Ferrocarril del Sud, GEBA, Lomas, Belgrano, Ferro Carril Oeste, and Estudiantes BA and 12 other instititutions.The main stadium court, Horacio Billoch Caride Stadium, has a capacity of 5,500 spectators and is named after former club president Horacio Billoch Caride, considered one of the most notable tennis executives, which also presided the Argentine Tennis Association. The stadium has hosted numerous Davis Cup and Fed Cup ties.

The Islamic Cultural Center "Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd in Argentina" (Spanish: Centro Cultural Islámico "Custodio de las Dos Sagradas Mezquitas, Rey Fahd" or CCIAR) is a mosque and center for Islamic culture located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is named after King Fahd of Saudi Arabia. It became the largest Mosque in Latin America, after the President Carlos Menem's 1995 grant of 34,000 m² of municipal land in the Palermo section of Buenos Aires was given to the Mosque, following a state visit to Saudi Arabia.Inaugurated in 2000, the Mosque and cultural center, was constructed as a gift of the Saudi government on land donated by the Argentinian government. It was designed by Saudi architect Zuhair Fayez, and includes prayer halls with capacities for 1,200 men and 400 women, respectively. The cultural center hosts a primary and secondary school, as well as a divinities school and a dormitory for 50 students.

The Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo is a horse racing course located in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and one of the most important in the country, hosting 120 days of racing and 1,400 races every year. Races are hosted three days a week, with about nine races per racing day. The property is open to the public free of charge twenty-four hours a day.Its dirt course is considered one of the best in the world, and the track is one of the most modern in South America.The Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo also hosts music concerts, attracting twenty to twenty-five thousand attendants, and culinary fairs, attracting ten to twenty thousand attendants. Musicians that have played include Alejandro Sanz, Fito Paez, Lisandro Aristimuño, Divididos, David Bisbal, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Maluma and TINI. These events are hosted in the hippodrome park (parque hipódromo), in the middle of the track. Adidas also hosts running training events at the park.

Colegiales is a barrio or district in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is located between Alvarez Thomas av., Forest av., De los Incas av., Virrey del Pino st., Cabildo av., Jorge Newbery st., Crámer st. and Dorrego av. This neighborhood offers a vast amount of contrast and opportunities. There are large and tall buildings that go from the Crámer street to Avenida Cabildo and traditional houses up to three stories. This district has become a busy one with many pedestrians and cars on the streets. This neighborhood is mainly residential, with some non-residential areas like the classification yard in the north-east zone, the fairs in the south-west (where until the late 1960s there was another classification yard), and the UCA Colegiales campus in the south-east.

The Club Atlético Excursionistas stadium does not have an official name, and is thus simply referred to as Estadio de Excursionistas or colloquially as Pampa y Miñones or El Coliseo del Bajo Belgrano. The stadium was built in 1911 in the traditional Buenos Aires neighborhood of Belgrano (more specifically what is known as "Bajo Belgrano"), and it comprises the full block between streets La Pampa, Miñones, Migueletes and José Hernández. The stadium's address is La Pampa 1376 for the press and general public, and Miñones 1780 for players and referees.
