Aichi Prefecture (愛知県, Aichi-ken, Japanese pronunciation: [aitɕi̥ꜜkeɴ]) is a prefecture of Japan located in the Chūbu region of Honshū.: 11, 126  Aichi Prefecture has a population of 7,552,873 (as of 1 October 2019) and a geographic area of 5,172.92 square kilometres (1,997.28 sq mi) with a population density of 1,460 inhabitants per square kilometre (3,800/sq mi). Aichi Prefecture borders Mie Prefecture to the west, Gifu Prefecture and Nagano Prefecture to the north, and Shizuoka Prefecture to the east.

It is located 4.3 rail kilometers from the terminus of the Meijō Line at Kanayama Station. This station provides access to its namesake, Nagoya City Hall, as well as Aichi Prefectural Government Office, Nagoya City Archives, Nagoya Noh Theatre and Nagoya Castle. The station was previously called Shiyakusho Station (市役所駅, Shiyakusho-eki, lit. "City Hall Station") and its name was changed on 4 January 2023.

Hisaya-ōdōri Station (久屋大通駅, Hisaya-ōdōri-eki) is an underground metro station located in Naka-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan operated by the Nagoya Municipal Subway. It is an interchange station between the Sakura-dōri Line and the Meijō Line and is located 3.3 rail kilometers from the terminus of the Sakura-dōri Line at Taiko-dori Station and 3.4 rail kilometers from the terminus of the Meijō Line at Kanayama Station. This station is located in part of the upper class district of Nagoya.
