The Marque is the tallest residential development in Cambridge, England. The building is nine storeys high and comprises 92 apartments. The three floor penthouse is the highest residence in the city and is 2697 square feet. It was priced at £1.3m, sold to a Chinese investor who immediately sold it on to a British buyer.The building made the shortlist for the 2014 Carbuncle Cup for the ugliest building of the year.

Hills Road Sixth Form College (commonly referred to as HRSFC, Hills Road or just Hills) is a public sector co-educational sixth form college in Cambridge, England, providing full-time A-level courses for approximately 2000 sixth form students from the surrounding area and a wide variety of courses to around 4,000 part-time students of all ages in the adult education programme, held as daytime and evening classes.

Cambridge railway station is the principal station serving the city of Cambridge in the east of England. It stands at the end of Station Road, 1 mile (1.6 km) south-east of the city centre. Homerton College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. Its first premises were acquired in Homerton, London in 1768, by an informal gathering of Protestant dissenters with origins in the seventeenth century. In 1894, the college moved from Homerton High Street, Hackney, London, to Cambridge. Homerton was admitted as an "Approved Society" of the university in 1976, and received its Royal charter in 2010, affirming its status as a full college of the university. The college celebrated its 250th anniversary in 2018.With around 600 undergraduates, 800 postgraduates, and 90 fellows, it has more students than any other Cambridge college but, because only half of those are resident undergraduates, its undergraduate presence is similar to large colleges such as Trinity and St John's. The college has particularly strong ties to public service, as well as academia, having educated many prominent dissenting thinkers, educationalists, politicians, and missionary explorers.The college has extensive grounds which encompass sports fields, water features and beehives, and the focal point of the college, its Victorian Gothic hall. It also has a wide range of student clubs and societies, including Homerton College Boat Club, Homerton College Music Society and the Homerton College Rugby Football Club.

Cavendish College, Cambridge was a public hostel of the University of Cambridge, active from 1873 to 1892. Its former buildings now house Homerton College, Cambridge.

The Cambridge Centre for Sixth-form Studies (CCSS) was an independent sixth-form college for boarding and day students aged 15 to 19. The college, which was founded in 1980, owned teaching and residential accommodation in the centre of Cambridge, England. It became part of the Stephen Perse Foundation in September 2018 and disappeared as a branded college in March 2020.

Station Road is a road in southeast Cambridge, England. It leads from a junction with traffic lights on Hills Road (A1307) to the Cambridge railway station. At the western end of Station Road on the opposite side of Hills Road is the Cambridge University Botanic Garden.

St John the Evangelist's Church is a Church of England parish church located on the junction of Hills Road and Blinco Grove in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. The previous vicar, Canon Susan Wyatt, previously of Over and Longstanton (Cambridgeshire), retired in June 2016 having come to the parish in 2006. The current priest-in-change (since June 2017) is the Revd James Shakespeare, who had served as curate at this church some years before.

The Flying Pig is a public house in Hills Road, Cambridge. It was first recorded as The Engineer in 1844 and then renamed The Crown Inn in 1860. It was renamed "The Flying Pig" by landlord Mick Clelford in the 1980s as he was a pilot and nicknamed "The Pig".Customers have included Pink Floyd members Syd Barrett and David Gilmour, who met there, and mathematician Michael Guy.In 2008, the local council approved plans to demolish The Flying Pig, but petitions and protests kept the pub open until October 2021, when The Pig permanently closed its doors.
