Klæbu Church

Klæbu is a village in Trondheim Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located on the eastern shore of the river Nidelva, about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) east of the village of Tanem and about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) south of the city of Trondheim. The village sits at the junction of Norwegian county roads 805 and 921. The historic Klæbu Church is located in the village. The village was the administrative centre of the old Klæbu Municipality prior to 2020 when it was merged into Trondheim. The 1.58-square-kilometre (390-acre) village has a population (2018) of 3,354 and a population density of 2,123 inhabitants per square kilometre (5,500/sq mi).The newspaper KlæbuPosten is published in Klæbu.

It is located between Nidelva river and Vassfjellet approximately 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) west of the village of Klæbu which sits on the other side of the river. The 0.45-square-kilometre (110-acre) village has a population (2018) of 1,273 and a population density of 2,829 inhabitants per square kilometre (7,330/sq mi). Tanem's population has been growing rapidly. The Tanem village itself and surrounding areas provides few employment opportunities and most of the residents of Tanem commute to Trondheim to work.

Klæbu is a former municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 2020 when it was incorporated into the neighboring Trondheim Municipality. It was located in the southern part of the Trondheim Region, about 20 kilometres (12 mi) south of the city of Trondheim. The administrative center was the village of Klæbu. The other major village in Klæbu municipality was Tanem. Even though agriculture has traditionally been the main industry for Klæbu, the municipality most recently functioned more as a commuter town of Trondheim, where many of Klæbu's inhabitants work or attend school. At the time of its dissolution in 2020, the 186-square-kilometre (72 sq mi) municipality is the 337th largest by area out of the 422 municipalities in Norway. Klæbu is the 171st most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 6,094. The municipality's population density is 34.8 inhabitants per square kilometre (90/sq mi) and its population has increased by 9.6% over the last decade.

Bratsberg Church (Norwegian: Bratsberg kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Trondheim municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the Bratsberg area southeast of the city of Trondheim and east of Heimdal. It is one of the churches for the Nidelven parish which is part of the Strinda prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was built in a cruciform style in 1850 by Ole Henriksen using plans drawn up by the architect Hans Linstow. The church seats about 220 people.

Bratsberg is a village in Trondheim municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located in the borough of Lerkendal, between the village of Tanem and the lake Jonsvatnet. The 0.26-square-kilometre (64-acre) village has a population (2018) of 379 and a population density of 1,458 inhabitants per square kilometre (3,780/sq mi).

Tiller is a former municipality in the old Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The 24-square-kilometre (9.3 sq mi) municipality of Tiller existed from 1899 until its dissolution in 1964. The municipality encompassed part of the south-central part of what is now the municipality of Trondheim in Trøndelag county. The municipality was generally located between the river Nidelva in the east and the Dovrebanen railway line. The administrative centre was located at Heimdal, on the western edge of the municipality. The local Tiller Church was built shortly after the creation of the municipality (1901) to serve its residents.

Vassfjell Chapel (Norwegian: Vassfjellkapellet) is a chapel in Trondheim municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in a rural area northeast of the mountain Vassfjellet, about 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) west of the village of Tanem. There is no direct road access to the chapel, but there is a 1-kilometre (0.62 mi) long hiking path from a parking lot located on the road to the north. It is an annex chapel for the Klæbu parish which is part of the Heimdal og Byåsen prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1974 by the architect students Steinar Romedal, Jan Oddvar Hareide, I. Tolo, and O. Holen.

Jonsvatnet shooting range, Norwegian Jonsvatnet skytebane, can refer to a set of shooting ranges that together makes up for the largest civilian shooting range complex around the city of Trondheim in Norway. The ranges of Nidaros Skytterlag, Trondheim Jeger- og Fiskerforening, and Trondhjems Pistolklubb are situated close to each other at the north end of Digresmyra wetlands, while the range of Nidaros Jaktskytterklubb is on the south end of Digresmyra.

Estenstadmarka is a hilly, forested area east-southeast of the city center of Trondheim in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is mainly used for recreation by the population of Trondheim. There are several gravel tracks, and electrically lit tracks for cross country skiing in the winter season. There are also several lakes, and a cabin (Estenstadhytta, 329 m.a.s.l.). There is a fine view over the city and fjord below from the Månen viewpoint. Estenstadmarka is bounded by the lake Jonsvannet in the east. The NTNU campus at Dragvoll is located near Estenstadmarka.

It is the church for the Tiller parish which is part of the Heimdal og Byåsen prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1901 by the architect Johan Kunig. The church seats about 200 people.

Bratsberg Power Station (Bratsberg kraftverk) is a hydroelectric power station located in Trondheim in Sør-Trøndelag County, Norway, owned by Statkraft. It operates at an installed capacity of 124 MW, with an average annual production of 650 GWh. The power plant is fed from the Selbusjøen reservoir, connected with a 12 km long tunnel, offering a gross head of 147 m. The power plant has two Francis turbines.

Tiller or Tillerbyen is a neighborhood in the borough of Heimdal in the city of Trondheim, Norway. It is located in the southwestern part of Trondheim Municipality in Trøndelag county. Tiller Church is located in the neighborhood. The European route E6 highway passes through Tiller from north to south, connecting Trondheim with Melhus. The highway was rebuilt as a four-lane motorway from 2011-2019. Tiller has large commercial areas including shopping centers and around 300 businesses, especially in Tillerbyen. Among the shopping centers in this area, City Syd is the best known. Tiller IL is the sports club based in Tiller.
