Muuga aedlinn

Muuga is a village in Viimsi Parish, Harju County in northern Estonia. It is located about 12 km (7 mi) northeast of the centre of Tallinn, just north of Maardu's district of Muuga aedlinn (Muuga garden city), on the coast of Muuga Bay. Half of the village's territory is occupied by the Port of Muuga (which also occupies lands from Uusküla and Maardu). As of the 2011 census, the settlement's population was 581, of which the Estonians were 327 (56.3%).The western part of Muuga is connected to the centre of Tallinn by Tallinn Bus Company's route no. 38 (Viru keskus – Muuga), and the average travel time is about 35 minutes. The eastern part is reachable by route no. 34A (Viru keskus - Muuga aedlinn), and the average travel time is also about 35 minutes, but it is much more frequent. Estonia's second-largest glacial erratic, Kabelikivi (Chapel Rock), is located in Muuga. It is 18.7 m long, 14.9 m wide, and 6.4 m high, and its above-ground volume is 728 m³.

Muuga Harbour (Estonian: Muuga sadam) is the largest cargo port in Estonia, located on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland, 17 kilometres (11 mi) northeast of the capital Tallinn, in Maardu. The harbour is administrated by Port of Tallinn, the biggest port authority in Estonia. Muuga Harbour is one of the few ice-free ports in northernmost Europe and among the deepest —up to 18 metres (59 ft) — and most modern ports in the Baltic Sea region. The cargo volume handled accounts for around 80% of the total cargo volume of Port of Tallinn and approximately 90% of the transit cargo volume passing through Estonia. Nearly 3/4 of cargo loaded in Muuga Harbour includes crude oil and oil products, but the harbour also serves dry bulk (mostly fertilizers, grain and coal) and other types of cargo. Hamburg's HHLA has had a terminal in the port since 2018. This means that Muuga is networked with the ports of Hamburg, Odessa and Trieste via the logistics group HHLA, also with regard to the Silk Road.The usual annual cargo traffic in the seaport is about 20–30 million tons. The harbour covers an area of 5.24 square kilometres (2.02 sq mi) on land and 7.5 square kilometres (2.9 sq mi) of water. Besides Maardu, the seaport also occupies land in the villages of Muuga and Uusküla. There are 29 quays with a total length of 6.4 km (4.0 mi). The maximum depth is 18.0 m (59.1 ft). The largest tonnage of ship that can be accommodated is 300 by 48 metres (984 by 157 ft). There are 6 liquid bulk terminals, container, grain, coal, steel and a dry bulk terminals located in the port.

Iru Power Plant is a co-generation power plant in Iru village, Maardu, Estonia. It is owned by Enefit Green, a subsidiary of Eesti Energia. The plant has a heating capacity of 698 MWt.

Laiaküla is a village in Viimsi Parish, Harju County in northern Estonia. It's located about 10 km (6 mi) east of the centre of Tallinn. Laiaküla is an exclave of Viimsi Parish, situated between Tallinn and Maardu. As of 2011 Census, the settlement's population was 740, of which the Estonians were 461 (62.3%). Laiaküla is reachable from the centre of Tallinn by Tallinn Bus Company's route nr. 34A (Viru keskus – Muuga aedlinn), average traveling time is about 29 minutes (the stop's name is Käära).

Pärnamäe Cemetery (Estonian: Pärnamäe kalmistu) is a cemetery in Pirita District, Tallinn, Estonia. Its area is 105.6 ha.The cemetery was opened in 1962, and the cemetery was the merger of two former cemeteries. First burial took place in 1963.In 1993, a crematorium (first in Estonia) was opened at the cemetery.
