Stickford

Keal Cotes, forming part of West Keal parish, is a small linear village in East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated on the A16 road, 1 mile (1.6 km) south from West Keal and 1 mile north from Stickford. The nearest market town is Spilsby, about 6 miles (10 km) to the north. Keal Cotes market day is on Mondays. The village is at the southern edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds north of the Fenlands, and approximately 25 miles (40 km) east from the city and county town of Lincoln, 11 miles (18 km) north-east from the market town of Boston, and 12 miles (19 km) west from the holiday resort of Skegness. The remains of a substantial Roman villa or high status Romano-British farmhouse, the only one found in Lincolnshire, are in a large field at the south end of the village. The name of the village is occasionally spelt on some maps as "Keal Coates".

In 1961 the parish had a population of 18. On 1 April 1987 the parish was abolished and merged with East Kirkby.Hagnaby is listed in the 1086 Domesday Book as "Hagenebi", with 23 households. In 1086 the Lord of the Manor was Ivo Tallboys.The church, dedicated to Saint Andrew, is a Grade II listed building dating from the late 18th century with 1881 and 1903 alterations, and consists of render over red brick.A 19th-century mansion house assumed the name "Hagnaby Priory" although there is no historical record of any priory in the vicinity. In 1964 Pevsner stated that remains of a large 1835 Tudor and Gothic style house (Hagnaby Priory) by Charles Kirk existed as part of a current office wing.In 1885 Kelly's Directory recorded a parish of 789 acres (3.2 km2), with agricultural production of wheat, oats, barley and beans.

Stickney railway station is a former station that served the village of Stickney, in Lincolnshire, England. The station was on the Kirkstead and Little Steeping Railway which ran between Lincoln and Firsby. The line was sometimes called the "New Line". It was opened in 1913 and closed in 1970. The site has since been redeveloped with nothing left of the station.

Royal Air Force East Kirkby or more simply RAF East Kirkby is a former Royal Air Force station near the village of East Kirkby, south of Horncastle in Lincolnshire, just off the A155. The airfield is now home to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre air museum.

It was opened to the public in 1988 by Lincolnshire farmers Fred and Harold Panton, as a memorial to their older brother, Christopher Whitton Panton, who was killed on operations during the Second World War.

In the south aisle is a 14th-century slab to Sir Robert Sylkestone (d. 1347), founder of the chantry.A Wesleyan chapel was established in 1862. East Kirkby was the birthplace of Thomas Goodrich, or Goodricke, (1494–1554). The village's public house is the Red Lion on Fen Lane.The Prime Meridian passes just to the east of East Kirkby through the former RAF East Kirkby airfield, which has a meridian marker. The airfield was a Second World War Royal Air Force station, part of which now houses the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre.

East Keal is a village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated approximately 13 miles (21 km) north from the town of Boston, 2 miles (3 km) south from the town of Spilsby, and on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. East Keal church is dedicated to Saint Helen, dates from the 13th and 14th centuries, and is built in Early English and Perpendicular styles. It was extensively rebuilt in 1853–54 by Stephen Lewin but retains many of its original features. It is a Grade II* listed building. Edmund de Grimsby, later a prominent judge and Crown official, was parish priest here in the 1320s. East Keal CE School was built as a parochial school in 1848. It reopened in 1874 as the East Keal National School, became a Junior School in 1950, and closed in 1968.The small village of Keal Cotes lies on the border of East Keal and West Keal. The East Keal brickworks site was partially excavated by the archaeologist and folklorist Ethel Rudkin.

Midville railway station was a station in Midville, Lincolnshire, England. It was on the line between Lincoln and Firsby. The station opened in 1913 and closed along with the line in 1970. The station building and masters house are now in private ownership.

The village was an extra-parochial allotment of the East Fen, which was drained between 1802 and 1813, and was constituted as a parochial township by an act of Parliament passed in 1885.
