West High School is a public high school in Torrance, California, United States. The mascot is the Warrior. It is a part of the Torrance Unified School District.

The Woman's Club of Redondo Beach is part of the California Federation of Women's Clubs (CFWC) and was founded in 1908. Included in the Mission Statement of the Woman's Club of Redondo Beach is the care and preservation of their Clubhouse which was built in 1922 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Redondo Union High School (RUHS) is a public high school in Redondo Beach, California. Redondo Union High School is a part of the Redondo Beach Unified School District. All residents of Redondo Beach are zoned to Redondo Union. In addition, residents of Hermosa Beach may choose to attend Redondo Union or Mira Costa High School of the Manhattan Beach Unified School District.Since opening in 1905, Redondo Union High School has developed into the second largest high school campus in the State of California, with an overall area of 56 acres (230,000 m2).

Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center is a hospital in Torrance, California, United States. The hospital was founded by the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary, and is part of the Providence Health & Services system.

The old Redondo Beach Public Library is a small Spanish mission-style public works building located in Redondo Beach, California. It was built in the 1930s by Lovell Bearse Pemberton and is located adjacent to the Redondo Beach Pier, a popular tourist attraction in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. The building's main entrance faces east, towards a large open space park filled with a veterans' memorial and playground. The backside of the building faces the Pacific Ocean and offers benches for tourists to enjoy the view. The new library was opened in 1995.

The Diamond Apartments are an apartment building located at 321 Diamond St. in Redondo Beach, California. Built in 1913 by Harry Meacham, the apartment complex was the first commercial building in the surrounding neighborhood. Architect Lovell Pemberton designed the Classical Revival building. The first floor of the building held commercial space; early businesses in the building included a furniture store, a laundromat, and a paint store. Developers demolished all but three of Redondo Beach's downtown commercial buildings in the 1960s, leaving the apartment complex as the city's second-oldest standing commercial building and the oldest which has maintained its historic integrity.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 26, 1992.

Hotel Redondo was a hotel in Redondo Beach, California, that opened in 1890 and was demolished in 1925. The hotel, which had 225 rooms in three stories, was built in a High Victorian style. Construction cost approximately $500,000. At the time, it was one of the most important hotels in Southern California.

The Redondo Beach pier is located in Redondo Beach, California and stretches out into the Pacific Ocean. The pier has been rebuilt and altered by storms and redevelopments. Its official name is "Municipal Pier," and it has also been called the "Endless Pier". The pier started out as a disjointed group of wharves near the end of the 19th century but evolved into an interconnected structure after a series of storms and demolitions throughout the 20th century. The pier area used to be heavily crowded with tourists and locals during the 1970s, but began to decline after the nearby Seaport Village project failed and went into bankruptcy in 1982. In 1988, the pier was severely battered by two winter storms, and on May 27 it burned to the waterline due to an electrical short circuit (the fire was so large that a SigAlert was announced for the San Diego Freeway several miles away). The pier's modern reinforced concrete version was completed in 1995 and has brought back the appeal to Redondo Beach's business district ever since.

The western terminus of the Metro Rail C Line (formerly the Green Line) is in North Redondo Beach.

Total Access Recording is a recording studio located in Redondo Beach, California, owned and operated by founder Wyn Davis and Steve Ornest. Total Access opened for business in December 1980. The first clients of the studio were bands signed with SST Records, whose owner Greg Ginn had made a "bulk recording deal" with Davis. Renowned producer Ken Scott is also a client of the studio.

Valor Christian Academy is a private transitional kindergarten through middle grades Christian school in Redondo Beach, California, in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. It was previously known as Coast Christian School but received its current name in September 2012. It was affiliated with the Assemblies of God.

Del Amo Fashion Center is a three-level regional shopping mall in Torrance, California, United States. It is currently managed and co-owned by Simon Property Group. With a gross leasable area (GLA) of 2,519,601 sq ft (234,079 m2), it is the sixth largest shopping mall in the United States. The mall features Nordstrom, Dick's Sporting Goods, JCPenney, Macy's, Macy's Women's Store.
